I visited today this cozy café with my friend and had a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The desserts were especially impressive — tasty and the perfect way to finish the visit. What really made the experience stand out was the excellent service from Iryna. She was incredibly attentive and kind throughout our visit. She regularly checked in to make sure we were happy with everything, and she thoughtfully suggested drinks and delicious desserts that we might enjoy. Her friendly and caring attitude made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely love to come back again.

This is the third time I have visited Olive Kitchen and have always found the staff and food excellent. I would highly recommend going for a meal.. Just one very small thing.....when having the goats cheese toasty please supply a sharp knife or surrated one. Have to work hard cutting other wise. Very small point but booking again very soon.

We have now been several times and as always lovely food, service and atmosphere . The only negative was when we arrived and although we had booked a table in advance, there didn’t seem to have been any consideration on where we would be seated , we were offered a table looking directly into the toilet entrance , even though there were numerous other tables available some looking directly outside. Perhaps that aspect can be improved, other than that we have recommend the Olive Kitchen to friends and relatives

Our first visit to the Olive kitchen, and what a tremendous find, the food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere just perfect. We will be making this a regular, and as we live 5mins away we couldn’t ask for more. Thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a great meal out.

As always we had a lovely Sunday lunch served in a very convivial and friendly atmosphere. Good value for money. We'll be back!

We attended Union Street Brasserie for a family member’s baby shower and gender reveal, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the start, the staff were incredible, they were so accommodating and welcoming, and they kindly allowed us to decorate the space. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and created the perfect setting for such a special occasion. Throughout the event, the team were attentive, regularly checking in and taking drink orders. The afternoon tea was delicious and beautifully presented, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The parents-to-be loved every moment, and all the guests had a fantastic time. Many of us travelled from across Dorset and Somerset to be there, and it was more than worth the journey. I would highly recommend Union Street Brasserie, whether you’re planning a special event or just looking for a lovely place for lunch. A big thank you to the entire team for making the day so memorable!

I had the Quiche it was great so flavourful a great meal if you have not been to have a meal then do it you will not be disappointed

Great place to eat - booking is so easy on line - service was efficient and timely, food different and very tasty . We had brunch, I had the French toast which was cooked perfectly and the rhubarb added a great flavour to the whole dish. Coffee was good too. My husband had the cooked breakfast and felt it lacked some moisture I.e tomatoes or baked beans but he still enjoyed it regardless. Feel this is a little hidden gem in Martock .

Absolutely delicious from start to finish! The food not only looked beautiful but tasted even better. The sweet dish was perfectly balanced rich and indulgent without being overwhelming, with the fresh berries and crunchy topping adding great texture and flavor. The savory dish was just as impressive, with fluffy scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked mushrooms, and fresh herbs bringing everything together on a crisp slice of toast. Everything felt fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented. Paired with a nice coffee and tea, it made for a really enjoyable meal. I’ll definitely be coming back highly recommend!

Great brunch as always. My husband enjoyed the the big breakfast. I loved the rhubarb and custard French toast - genius!

What an amazing restaurant! 18 of us came to Perdida for a team volunteering day at Ferne and the lunch was definitely a highlight! The food was absolutely delicious, there were clean plates all round, such an array of delicious food and drink to choose from and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! I will definitely be coming back!
