We popped in on Sunday for a roast dinner and the service and food was excellent. Very friendly staff too in pleasant surroundings.

South Sands Hotel – Weston-super-MareSecond visit and the food was as good as the first Sunday Lunch! Brilliant service. Such a good find would certainly visit again and recommend.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsAlways enjoy the food here at the Olive Kitchen. It is innovative, fresh and uses amazing ingredients. Came with family and it was their first visit and they both said it was one of the best meals they have had for a long time and they are ‘foodies’. It was busy and service was a bit slow but nonetheless it was still a great lunch.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilAmazing tasty food as always Thanks for great lunch
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilWonderful place to have a delicious Sunday roast in Yeovil! Although it was extremely busy and the restaurant was packed today, the Sunday roast here is simply the best and absolutely worth the wait. The food was cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. What impressed us even more was the excellent teamwork. Despite how busy the restaurant was, everything ran smoothly thanks to the well-organised and professional staff. A special thank you to Iryna for her attentive and top service. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and ensured that everything was perfect throughout our visit. Great food, outstanding service. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional Sunday roast in Yeovil.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilFood was delicious and service excellent. We really enjoyed both our starters and mains. A shame there were not more tables occupied.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsAlways great food, and a lovely atmosphere.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilWe visited on Saturday and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the baked potatoes, and the portions were very generous. Everything was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. The service was excellent throughout our visit. A special thank you to the new lady on the team (unfortunately, I can't remember her name) who made us feel especially welcome with her warm, friendly, and attentive service. She really added a personal touch to our visit. The atmosphere was pleasant, and it was clear that the staff genuinely care about their customers. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer the option to pay at the table, which would make the experience even more convenient. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty food, generous portions, and outstanding customer service!
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilMyself and 3 others had a lovely meal on Saturday 29th May. The food was delicious but to have all the food come out in one go was almost too much. We would have ordered a bottle of wine to go with the meal but felt we had to plough through the food before it chilled. If we come again - which I hope we will - we will order mezze for 2 to start with along with chosen meat dishes and then after half hour or so would order the second mezze for 2 plus a bottle of wine. Atmosphere was good in the restaurant, staff very busy. Good value for money. Generally a good experience, just felt rushed.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilDelicious food and great service.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilFirst visit. Unusual venue. Easy parking. Interesting menu. Noisy/buzzy atmosphere. The food was very good. Eastern Mediterranean ? Service pleasant, but a bit slow. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilOur 3rd visit . this was to celebrate having moved to Wells a year ago. We think is the best place in Wells to eat out. We had a lovely meal , my husband started with the mussels which he loved but as the portion was big he run out of steam with his truffled chicken main course, he did enjoy it though. I had the Chalk stream trout for starter which was lovely followed by the best fillet steak I have had for years. I managed to squeeze in a dessert of passion fruit posset which was lovely. This is a lovely restaurant with sweet staff , we will be coming again.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsAnother excellent meal. Great service and special mention to Harriet who dealt with numerous questions and queries like a pro. First time visit from my friends who said it was the best meal they've had in ages. Thank you.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilHad a really lovely experience at Kiln Workshop. Booking was quick and easy, and the studio felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. There was a great selection of pottery pieces to choose from, and the team explained the painting process and paints clearly before we started. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help when needed. The atmosphere was relaxed with good music, drinks available to purchase, and large windows that filled the space with natural light. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and creative activity.
Kiln Workshop – BishopstonI visited The Olive for the first time for one of the ‘Mezze & Grill’ evenings. The staff were very welcoming, ensured we were comfortable and were attentive throughout the evening. The Mezze small plates were very well presented, colourful, delicious flavours and there was lots of variety. The homemade cakes on offer were also very yummy, and there were plenty of choices. It was a very pleasant evening in a relaxed and unique setting.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilOn a busy Saturday, the restaurant was full of people having a good time. We ordered the mezze for 2 and 2 apple and ginger spritzers, and it was delicious. A wonderful mix of flavours and textures. This was the second time I had this dish and it was as good as before. My daughter loved it. Sadly we had no room for pecan pie or the delicious cakes, perhaps next week, with a coffee.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilDelicious food!
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilLovely space and lovely people. So enjoyable and such a personal treat. Some cheaper items for children would be a great addition, for example if you spend over £x on larger items, the kids ones are £2-3 for maybe a small letter or number tile.
Kiln Workshop – BishopstonScrumptious Cream Tea, £20pp. Add a bottle of Prosecco for £20. Pre-booking required.
Every Friday and Saturday evening: 2 meals for £20.
