Lovely food and reasonable service and ambience. But make sure that you double check your bill. We were overcharged and I'm not sure it was a mistake.

A relatively new restaurant, but it stands apart on the sheer quality of its Thai cuisine, coupled with a nice ambience and good service. A nice addition to the numerous restaurants on the Harborne High street.Definitely worth a visit--and do try the soups--delectable!!

This is the place to go...time and time again! The food is exquisite, the service, faultless. I have eaten at Mai Thai countless times during their first year...every visit is a culinary delight. The amazingly friendly, welcoming owner has not only always given me a first class experience every time she has assured that all courses are wheat and gluten-free. Having severe allergies has placed no restriction on having a superb time at this restaurant....sadly that cannot be said of many! If I cannot eat a course, the owner and chef have devised other sumptuous alternatives which after much praise from myself have been offered to other diners! I can honestly say some dishes are orgasmic! I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Restaurant is in a clean modern style; small but quite cosy. My table had very well starched white linen (being a bloke, that's not so important to me, but hey, even I noticed. Looks like the sort of place the girlfriend would find 'romantic'). Onto the important stuff -the food is very authentic; the best I have had outside of Thailand. I had Tom Kha Kai ( lemon grass soup with chicken, coriander, mushrooms and a bit of chilli), followed by Plar Muek Pad Ped (Squid stir fry in a thick sauce with fresh lime leafs and basil). Restaurant is quite busy - looks like booking would be wise.
