Alderley Restaurant

Alderley Edge Hotel, Macclesfield Road, Alderley Edge, SK9 7BJ - 0871 811 4340

Newly refurbished in 2009, the elegant 80-cover Alderley Restaurant at the Alderley Edge Hotel retains its splendid views out over the Edge. The hotel sits on wooded slopes above the village in an Elizabethan-Gothic style home that was built in 1850 for one of Manchester's wealthy industrial grandees. Chris Holland is head chef at the three-AA-rosetted restaurant - which is also the current Cheshire Life Restaurant of the Year -- and has put together a sumptuous fine dining experience that incorporates innovative 'sous vide' specialities that are available on both his a la carte and gourmet tasting menus. An extensive wine list admirably complements the food and the Lounge Bar is the perfect spot for drinks before or after your meal. A selection of lighter dishes is also available here. The main restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day, except Sunday evening, and there are two private dining rooms available which overlook the flower-filled gardens. The hotel has 50 rooms and suites and is also a popular choice for weddings and conferences. The Laurent-Perrier function suite at the Alderley Edge Hotel has its own bar and exclusive entrance.Awards | 3 AA Rosettes
