Went for sunday tea, put in a table near the window and was attacked by flies. The garlic mushrooms were luke warm, not a good start. Salmon pasta for main tasted ok, garlic bread with tomato barely warm, tirimisu ok and cold coffee. The waiters black trousers were dirty and he did not have a smile for the cat. The worst thing is I am now suffering from sickness and the other. You have been warned.

Had a lovely meal with 30 members of our family for my daughters 18th the staff was fantastic, my son has a gluten free diet and the chef was well aware of what to prepare i supplied my own pizza bases and the chef prepared a extremely tasty pizza for him, all 30 members was more than happy with the service and food. Excellent evening thank you guys.

Recently visited De Niro's resturant, Oswaldtwistle. Staff were brusque and appeared reluctant to lay our table, throwing cutlery onto it. They took our order quickly, however kept us waiting ages for our starters and again for our main courses. Drinks were offered regularly.
The food was very sub standard to our expectations. I began with Prawns, and received three in a garlic sauce. My grandson had garlic mushrooms which turned out to be very overcooked sliced mushrooms in a garlic sauce. My wife did not fancy anything on the menu so abstained. Main courses, everyone had Pollo (chicken) either in a white wine sauce or like myself what was described on the menu as chicken breast, wrapped in ham and cheese and covered in breadcrumbs. What actually appeared was a chicken escolope (probably from farmfoods) in breadcrumbs with a piece of bacon and some cheese melted on the bacon. It was overcooked and not nice at all. The vegetables served with it had obviously been sat under a heat lamp. The desert menu appeared to be a lifter. However what arrived was nothing like the pictures displayed on the menu. Very disappointing.
£130 spent for five of us, for a meal that we could have repeated lots better with ingredients purchased at farmfoods costing £30 cooked.
I would not recommend anyone visit this restaurant. Obviously we will not be venturing there again.

We went to DeNiro's on a Saturday night and had a mixed experience.
The service was well below par. We were seated and forgotten about for a while, people who came in after us had drink orders taken before us, a second drink failed to appear until we reminded them, the dessert menu failed to arrive. There were plenty of staff but only one who appeared to do much.
The food was generally Ok but nothing overly good. The garlic mushroom starter was very small and poor value for money while the pate was huge. The pasta with sausage and asparagus needed more sauce and the pizza capricossa was good. We didn't bother with dessert.
The worst part of the meal was the table - the restaurant seems to have squashed as many tables as possible in. We had a table for two that didn't have enough leg room and no space to move into - most uncomfortable!
