My partner and I ate at the Brown Cow and Dragon last night and we thought it was lovely. It was quiet but then again it was a Thursday and just before payday for many people but that didn't take anything away from the night. Our waiter was extremely friendly and a genuinely happy chappy from the moment we arrived. After being given a choice of where we'd like to sit we ordered the recommended banquet starter (a dish to share) and I ordered the seafood special, my partner a curried beef dish that I forget the name of. The food arrived promptly and was delicious, cooked perfectly (especially the beef which just disintegrated when you put your fork in to it and melted in your mouth). The starter, 2 mains, 2 portions of rice and a bottle of rose wine came to £49 in total which we felt was very reasonable. Also worthy of note is the way the restaurant is pleasantly and tastefully lit and decorated. We would recommend it and would go back again!

Well this was our second attempt here but give them their due the second attempt was worth waiting for after a poor performance first time which has been sorted due to staffing issues etc, since opening 2 months ago i have heard great news about this place, and tonight was good,we passed on starters and instead went for 3 main courses.
One being the special weeping tiger and yes this time it made me weep xxx sauce amazing.
Had 2 other chicken dishes one sweet and sour the other with ginger both good. All with side orders of Thai and Jasmine Rice.
The Head Chef came out and brought us mussels dressed with chopped salad and veg as a sorry for not being there first time around.I then asked about a Thai dish Mea Grob a crispy noodle dish, to which he went away and brought me a portion back, fantastic. One glass of white wine and a Singha Beer and the bill would have been around £40 for 2. The staff are very friendly but some are a bit shy,the bar man is friendly also , only down side is that on both occasions 80s pop music played in restaurant, when i believe should be Thai music, would we go back yes we would and soon and i hope that the people of Leeds and surrounding area support this restaurant well as it deserves to do well and has come along way since the sole Brown Cow status
