Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreVery good service. We booked a table, but got stuck in traffic. We phoned to let them know we would be late, and they held our table for us, despite being fully booked. Would certainly go there again.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreNot as good as it used to be. Took ages for our burgers to come. Couple next to us were seated after us and had eaten their food and left before us! Our burgers came like they’d been thrown together. Luke warm. Excessive cheese sauce falling off the plate! Some burnt chips too. But, the chicken wings were nice.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreTrip down memory lane as we remember the origin What’s cooking on the Wirral. The food was as good as ever and true to its origins. The service was friendly and efficient and as a prelude to an evening at the area made for a fantastic night out.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreAs usual a great meal, superb pizzas and a few people loved the Scouse.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreSecond time at What’s Cooking and it was great. Good service, good value, high quality food and good atmosphere in the restaurant. Would recommend and go again.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreFantastic pre theatre food. Pizzas are lovely and the sides were great too. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City Centre2 of us had a lovely meal on Thursday. Nice atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. Lovely food. My only negative is that there was only one vegan main course on offer, so if I came again I'd have to order the same meal. Wine was good.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreWe came here for the first time for my birthday. We had a lovely meal! Staff were friendly and polite. It was very busy but food and drinks were served quickly. The only issue was we noticed after paying they had added a 10% service charge. When we questioned this the lady said it was optional but no one mentioned this to us. They just added it on and didn’t say anything. It was quickly refunded back to us without any question but it would have been good to be told. We would definitely return though!
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreFood delicious, staff were really friendly. Not as expensive as a lot of places in town.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreSeated quickly, good service, excellent burger and fries. Will go again.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreReally nice place to eat before and event at the Phil, been several times over the years. Nice atmosphere, cozy. Staff always nice. Food plentiful and tasty. Great value for money and the small free dessert at the end is always a nice touch.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreWonderful food with very attentive staff
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreLovely ambiance, food was flavoursome hot and plenty of it . Hostess was attentive without constantly checking on you, great value for money.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreWe couldn’t fault anything, everything was perfect. The food came out quickly and piping hot. The service was fantastic and we did not feel rushed. We would return.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreWe alway visit Ma E’s for a meal before going to the theatre. I think this was the 4th visit in as many weeks. Food as always was amazing, no skimpy portions either! Scouse is always a must but you can’t go wrong with a pizza either. A must even if just for a pre/post theatre drink. (See you again soon!)
