Royal Crescent Hotel, Bath
The Dower House restaurant overlooks the secluded gardens of the Royal Crescent Hotel which are one of Bath's best-kept secrets. There's nowhere else in Bath quite as pleasurable as the hotel's stunning gardens for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea or a quiet drink in the evening. In summer months, the award-winning Dower House's sunny terrace make the perfect setting for al fresco dinning, either for a leisurely lunch or a relaxed informal dinner. The menu changes with the seasons to match the climate and to make the best use of the finest fresh ingredients. The expertly managed wine cellar complements the menus and provides ample choice for both the casual diner and true connoisseur of fine wines.
Head Chef Gordon Jones and his team have worked closely together to develop the synthesis of innovative cuisine within the rich architectural setting. They have created a contemporary British menu that draws on influences from around the world as well as very close to home. The Royal Crescent also offers a number of individually designed rooms ideal for private dining or corporate events such as the Pavilion Conservatory, the Library and the Montagu.
