Buffet Island is one of the best Chinese buffets I have ever been to (and I've been to quite a few, believe me!). The service is usually excellent, and food is amazing - not the bland Chinese stuff that most Chinese restaurants/takeaways/buffets usually serve (Modern China take note!) . I shall be trying the new Buffet Island in Great Barr out soon (hopefully) and I hope that it'll be as good if not better than the one on Tyburn Rd (if that's possible!).

Absolutely the best V.F Money cafe I have been in, great food and great prices, proper meals and all fresh veg.

This place is fantastic to go with friends to enjoy fabulous food and lovely wine. Its a real gem!

This is my favourite restaurant! The decor makes you feel like you are nowhere near Wolverhampton and all the dates I have taken there have thoroughly enjoyed the food too. Friend/family have also enjoyed it. Service is good. Food great. Ambiance is good. Great for meat eaters and vegetarians alike.

the food was ok but the service was poor. when i entered i was not greeted and i felt uncomfortable. but the atmosphere was good and the drinks were nice.

The food was great especially the king prawn and the service was ok aswell. the thing i loved most was the atmosphere. the place was very clean and the lighting was just perfect.

Myself and several friends went on Friday night 17.4.09, I have been there a few times before and knew how nice the food was so was happy when that's where my friends chose to go. The food is lovely staff really nice and food reasonably priced. Just need to book as its does get busy

Franzls is a long established family run restaurant with a great atmosphere and the food is so good and always fresh. I have never had a bad meal here and if I had to wait for my table I can go down to the beer keller and have a cold one. This is one of only two restaurants I would recommend for there good reputation over many years.

Ate at San Carlo again at the weekend and thought to myself as a regular Sugarvine user that I must come on here to write a recommendation for it! My partner and I regularly go to restaurants in town and San Carlo is the restaurant we revisit the most. The service, food and wine are, as always, absolutely excellent. The effort put in to creating the dishes is visible when the food is put in front of you. All meals are presented delightfully, something that I as a diner appreciates and San Carlo as restaurateurs clearly recognise the value of. We’re always quite adventurous with the wine list and again must compliment San Carlo for a diligent selection of wines. So, I hope this is a shining endorsement for those who are yet to be acquainted with San Carlo, I truly can’t recommend it enough.

very tasty and great food..halal Chinese and also indian/pakistani cuisine,great decor,great position on main highgate rd off startford rd...more chinese dishes than normal chinese restaurants!
