I love this place! Go there fairly regular and am never disappointed by the food! Only thing that usually lets this place down is the service - bit slow sometimes, but if you're not in a rush, then its great!

Frankie and Benny’s – NorthfieldA curry house with a twist - excellent non traditional decor combined with top notch food and excellent and attentive service. Highly recommended for that slightly different Indian experience in a convenient location at an affordable price.
Deolali – MoseleyThis is a very reasonably priced Asian restaurant. The food is very tasty and the portions are generous. The staff are very welcoming and the service is excellent. It's also suitable for families with children. The decor is a little dated but the ambience is great.
Dilshad Indian Restaurant – Sutton Coldfieldi have found the cyprus fishbar to be both cheap and exquisite food... it really harvests the taste of the traditional dish with an extra something which just adds to the experience and i would not eat from any other retailer
Cyprus Fishbar The – YardleyIt's been a while since I visited the Rajdoot - in fact I hadn't visited the new premises at all; but upon stepping into the luxuriously appointed foyer it was like meeting up with an old friend. There were seven of us - a mixture of adults and children all hot and bothered after a busy day shopping; the children were hungry and the adults ravenous. We were soon settled into the waiting area to peruse the menu and nibble on some marvellous indian crispy things - very moorish! The air conditioning soon cooled us down and before we knew it we were seated and the poppadums and salad were served. Now I used to swear that the besat mint sauce in Birmingham was always to be found at The Maharaja in Hurst Street - it could be that The Doot has equalled it if not surpassed it. Starters are always a good indicator of whats to come; our starters were exquisitely prepared and presented. Top quality ingredients and just enough to leave you wanting more - always a good sign. We went overboard with our main course. There were 7 of us and we ordered 8 main courses plus 4 vegetable dishes plus 4 rice and 4 naan - I did say we were ravenous! - you know what? - every morsel was eaten and the juices mopped up with the breads! This was an experience - the decor the atmosphere and above all the quality of the food really does make for something outstanding. One of my guests was from Plymouth and hadn't been to a Birmingham Restauranbt before - he went away a happy man! Well done Rajdoot and keep up the great work
Rajdoot Tandoori – Birmingham City Centre4 of us visited Simpson? for my wife's birthday on Saturday 15th July 2006.We were met by a French lady who was delightful and showed us through to the lounge area. We were offered drinks and then chose from the menu. For a Michelin star restaurant the menu is varied, not extensive but covers many different aspects of meats and fish. We were sat in the conservatory area as this was where the larger tables were. Service was professional, prompt and very informative explaining what each dish consisted of. I had the sweetbreads of veal followed by the venison and then chocolate croquettes with coconut tapioca. All very nice. I mentioned to the waiter following the main that the they could have been more generous on the venison. He said he would mention it to the chef. But I heard no more. The chocolate croquettes were dry and uninteresting. But I am really picking faults but surely we should be as it is supposed to be one of the best. Later we had petit fours in the lounge area with our coffee and not only that they had remembered my wife's birthday with it piped on the plate in chocolate. A lovely place, a lovely night. We shall return.
Simpsons – EdgbastonThis is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Birmingham, and believe us we have probably tried them all! The service time is always excellent with very pleasant staff always! If you are visiting Birmingham I strongly recommend you use this restaurant.
Chung Ying Cantonese – Birmingham City CentreThe black peppered sirloin was outstanding. The restaurant doesn? look that appealing but the food is definitely worth a visit.

Buffet Island – ErdingtonThe meal my wife & I had was the second time we had been to this very nice eating place. It was on recommendation of a friend of mine. We looked at the web site and found the menu was extensive so had to go! We also submitted our celebration dates. This was our Birthdays as asked by the email sent to us by the owner of the restaurant and hey, we got an invite to celebrate my Birthday. We took this up and although we had been on holiday, Mike Sharman extended the week allowed for this celebration meal and drink for a further week! Well if that is not good I don't not what is. So we went along and they made us very welcome. A cocktail with a very nice meal was offered to me and we paid for the other meal. Well one free one is very good in my books. The food is excellent and we could not fault it. We will of course be going back and taking our friends also to show them good Tapas.
La Plancha Spanish Tapas and Cocktail Bar – MoseleyI love The Jade, it is one of my favourite restaurants and I have been going there for years! They are fast, very generous with portions and the meals are a really good price! The staff are very nice and I would recommend it to anyone.

Akrams Kashmiri – StirchleyStumble by this wonderful little restaurant and was lucky to get a table, early on a Saturday evening. (Would definitely recommend booking). Staff were welcoming, friendly (without being overpowering) and knowledgeable. The food was out of this world. Two each of beers, soft drinks, main course and a shared dessert came to a total of £30. Pretty good value!
Sabai Sabai – MoseleyThe bar has had a recent refurbishment and looks great I would say its the best in the Arcadian.
