We're always nervous when taking friends to a restaurant we like ourselves but in this case we didn't need to worry as the food, service and overall attention to detail was as marvellous as ever! Thank you to all the staff.... We will be back !!

A friend and I had lunch at The Red Lion yesterday. Staff friendly Food hot and tasty. We'll be back.

We visited as a party of seven and as ever were not disappointed. The staff were great. The pub itself has a nice ambience and the food was fantastic. I can highly recommend a ribeye steak with a Texas topping. You will not regret it.

Good food, good service.

Booked table online. Warm, homely reception on arrival. Myself and friend had steak - cooked perfectly. Staff made a real fuss of us, like family. Always considered that everything was to our liking or required anything more. Custard was not piping hot and quickly rectified with apologies. Such lovely service and delicious main, pudding ans drinks

What a lovely place to eat ,food was excellent,couldn't find fault in anything we had .staff were lovely and very attentive but not intrusive,which is lovely . Definitely will go back again .

Had a lovely night at Da Gino’s Saturday evening with my wife, this was the first time we had visited despite it being on our doorstep, will definitely be visiting again and again, the service was top notch and the food was delicious, the best meal out we have had in a long time! Love the place!

Valentine’s evening was so lovely! Staff were really helpful and friendly

Valentines day meal. Me and my partner had a really great experience for our first time visiting; food, service and atmosphere were all brilliant and could not fault it, so much so that it promoted me to write this review. Valentines Day Menu had some great choices so didnt know what to pick but we had the French Onion soup and Scallops to start which were well sized and tasted great. For mains my partner had the Chicken breast which was perfectly cooked and came with a really nice sauce and really good Dauphinoise potatoes. I had the beef wellington which was perfectly cooked, mustard was a nice touch, and came with really good chip all with a perfect sauce to coat. All in all a brilliant evening and will be visiting again.

We had another tasty meal and the service was excellent. It is no wonder we have been coming here for 50 years.

What a wonderful restaurant, friendly staff that cannot do enough for you., The food was excellent of very high quality and plentiful. To the two and three course menu at lunchtime is ideal. Totally enjoyed the experience and will be returning soon.

Lovely food and service thank you

Monday lunch time. Friendly welcome, warm and comfortable. Mornay sauce with the cod was superb. Great meal served without mega wait. Lovely experience. We'll be back.

This was the first time that we’ve eaten at Da Gino, and we will definitely come again. The food was beautifully cooked and seasoned and tasty. The service was very good and atmosphere was very true to Italy, reminding us of lovely holidays that we’ve had there. Thank you very much for a lovely evening.

Food was lovely, although service was a bit disjointed that is to say that a table of two like ourselves that came in half an hour after us got served there starter whilest we were still waiting for our main (we did not have a starter) however that said the staff were very lovely and accommodating ,
