The Vine is an old favourite that I hadn't visited for a while but didn't disappoint. Seafood platter is always a hit with its wide variety and presentation . Really good value. The specials are always really interesting and varied from burgers to venison, mussels, kofta with masala fries. If you go during the day the set menu is excellent and I love their coachman ploughman. Inside it a very traditional setting and outside they invested in new seating for those warmer days. Walking distance to clent hills too. Drop in and support a local business who supports local suppliers

We had the three course lunchtime set menu. Everything about it was perfect. It was delicious and the quantity was just right for midday.

Stunning meal in very pleasant surroundings. The service was good and the pricing was very fair. Will certainly be back.

Absolutely AMAZING meal yesterday evening, first class food and service. Food was cooked fresh and from scratch, you could tell by the quality and taste of our meals. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and will definitely be using in the near future.

An excellent and really delicious Sunday lunch . Staff were attentive, professional and friendly. The only downside was a large group of diners who seemed incapable of speaking at a normal level and unable to consider other diners.

What a lovely little restaurant/Country pub. Ive cycled past here many times and had to finally try it with how beautiful it looks from the outside. We had a very pleasant evening dining, with the staff being very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, very tasty and good portions. And the pub itself is just as nice on the inside as the outside. Very cosy with its low beamed ceilings and open fire.

We had a lovely meal, the food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. It’s a beautiful pub and we will be back again.

Went for Mother’s Day. It was busy as expected and we was a little delayed in being showed to our table and booked time. However, this was expected of us and it just gave us more time to chat and relax. Food was good as normal and they was accommodating in allowing the mother with us to have ice cream instead of what was on the fixed menu.

Brilliant food - so tasty, cooked to perfection. The service was second to none as well. It can be quite pricey, but for a special treat it's well worth it.
