A decent dining area, family room and quiet garden round the back - a truly great british pub.

The Black Market – HastingsGreat restaurant in Old Town Hastings surrounded by funky shops, restaurant is very intimate and friendly and they serve fantastic fish, all freshly cooked. I would definitely go back as the atmosphere was fun and the staff were very friendly but best thing about Latham’s was the price, extremely reasonable with a great set lunch. I am going back again and will have my birthday party there.

Kambis – Brighton and HoveI've been to Black Pearl three times now, and I must say that the food and service have both improved greatly since the opening! On our last visit, we ordered the seafood platter for 3 and although a little pricey, when the meal arrived on the 3-tier trays, it looked great, was delicious and quantity was enormous (much more than for 3 "normal" people)! The staff are very friendly and the music level is just right, so you can enjoy a pleasant conversation too! We will definitely go back.

Pomegranate – HastingsI have been eating at the Indian Cottage since it opened. Excellent service, the chef appears to favour aromatically flavoured food rather than "blow your socks off hot" and (IMHO) the food is all the better for it, one gets to appreciate the full flavour and range of spices used. If you like Indian food give it a try.
