Have been to Cibos a number of times over the summer and very recently. With the recent refurbishment and ever attentive waiters, the food is just the icing on top of the cake. With an extensive menu of Italian traditional and contemporary dishes, including an amazing choice of delicious deserts which are all home made, you?l be spoilt for choice. Well done Cibos... 10/10

As soon as you enter you feel very relaxed. Tino is the perfect host and the food is beautifully presented. In the summertime you can sit outside under the most incredible vine, and while away the evening under the starlit sky. Perfect!

This is a very nice place to relax on a rainy Sunday afternoon. They have very good beer, especially if you mix the wheat beer with the dark lager 3 to 1. Excellent service. I highly recommend the goat cheese pizza.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is excellent. I love to relax in the lounge area (leather seats) on a Saturday afternoon and enjoy the freshly brewed beer and one of the tasty pizzas. All this for a very reasonable price!

Have been going their for nearly 20 years. Same chef who is very friendly. Now needs sprucing up as it is looking very tired. Food though, has always been first class and great value. Always fresh ingredients cooked to order. Seems to survive on take aways. Will carry on using until I'm sick of curries!

If you fancy a really good Indian meal, with great food, lovely ambience (albeit the surroundings are a little dated - but don't let that put you off!) brilliant service and great value, visit Eastern Spice

Went there with family and friends for a 40th birthday party last week. It was wonderful. I'd heard so much about it from work friends so was excited to see what all the noise was about. The food was deliciously first rate - unfussy, great portions; to put it simply some of the finest I've had in the 21 years I've lived in Bristol. We had the salmon to start, the venison to follow and the chocolate brownie which was to die for. Service was also first rate, very friendly and attentive staff who were there at the side of your table whenever your eyes happened to look up - the best type of service (not too faffy or in your face). The main restaurant isn't huge, but it's very welcoming and beautifully designed. We then headed to the bar, which was exceptionally busy, but we were greeted by a waiter who showed us to some quieter rooms upstairs which had the most wonderful seats and deep sofas to fall back in and relax after overdoing it in the restaurant. We had such a wonderful evening. And we can't wait to go back. 10/10

We had a Nagashari King Prawn - the best curry I've tasted in 30 years of eating curry -other than my wife's of course!

Go here. You will be treated like a prince and feast like a King. This place does THE BEST food in Bristol. Me and my girlfriend have been going there for years. Generous portions, modest prices, I cannot stress how great this place is. I am mad that more people don't know about it. It deserves an award. Go there!

What a great find! The best Tapas I've had anywhere, including Spain. Really friendly and prompt service and a nice unhurried feel to the evening. Definitely one to return to.

Despite living in Weston for over 5 years I had never been to the Sea Palace, mainly due to its previous history of Hygiene problems. However after several articles about the owners cleaning up and the money re-invested into the restaurant I felt it was about time I tried it. The restaurant is large and clean, freshly painted and very ?hinese?with huge murals on the walls and painted in red and gold colours. A mixture of standard Chinese starters where excellent, fresh and tasty. The prawn toast pilled high with prawn, the spare ribs meaty, the shredded seaweed crispy and sweet, the chicken Satay very nice and freshly prepared. Duck and Pancakes came next, they where hot and plentiful (to the point my guests stopped eating it so that they could handle a main course). The main course was perhaps the let down of the meal. Its not that they where bad, its more that the started and duck was so good and the. The meat dishes all had plenty of meat, the lemon chicken clearly had home-made sauce on it and the chicken itself was a soft chicken breast. The duck was soft and tender, even the vegetable dish was tasty (and I? normally a meat eater). The chilli beef was a little disappointing I thought, the beef had been cooked to such a point that the beef had disappeared and all you where left was a sort of crackling, not bad but not what I had expected. Pudding was a mixed bag. My banana toffee looked the part, a 2 golf ball size pieces of dough with a piece of banana inside cover in a crisp toffee coating sounded and look lovely, but let down by the dough not being cooked properly (making me think sunken Yorkshire puds that hadn? risen well). The other toffee dish (apple I think) had the same problem, not bad but not perfect either. I? glad I didn? order the ice cream dessert like my daughter, she thought it was very nice but I? not keen on massed produced chocolate covered ice creams straight from the freezer. Overall a good night out and the feed was worth going for, price was very reasonable approx. £65 for 4 people (including a bottle of wine - no coffees). Service was excellent, friendly and attentive although we dined on a Monday night and it wasn? busy, so given the size of the restaurant I don? know if the service would stand up to a full house. Would go again.

loved it, really pleased Bristol (at last) has this kind of venue. Was a very mixed crowd, which makes it fairly unique on Pk St. Great feel to the place and the food was spot on - I had the lamb Wellington. I've heard service can be a bit hit and miss, but I didn't experience that and found all the guys very attentive and on the ball. It's my new place - going back with friends who are over from the states and 'want to be impressed'. For my money - after experiencing a rather disappointing show at Bouredux Quay, this would get my vote as THE MUST SEE in town.

Great, recently revised menu. Very fresh ingredients (the sea bass turned up when we were looking at the menus...). Very friendly people.
