We had a great dinner here. There were four of us. I had the goat cheese, cherry crostini. It was delicious.. We had papparadelle, hake & seabass. All entrees were absolutely delicious. Great presentation & tasted wonderfully. The rocket salad was the only drawback. Very small & a sprinkle of parm on top. Didn’t have any dressing on it that I could taste. The semi freddo dessert is one of my favorites. It had some coffee sauce & was out of this world.

We had yet another wonderful meal at the Olive Tree Wells We would recommend it to anyone the staff are lovely

Great food, great service.

We had an excellent meal on Saturday choosing the daily set menu which we thought very good value for money. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We all had 3 course, all were good. We did think that charging £2.50 for 2 small slices of bread to go with the salad was a bit much. The soups came with the same bread but the small salad didn't which was strange. We will definitely come back

I’ve been visiting Olive Martock since we moved back to Somerset last September…it’s my go to coffee place and we also love having breakfast there….love it!!!!

A lovely venue, with friendly staff and a comfy atmosphere. As a vegan, there wasn’t really options and no cake available which was disappointing. The food I had was delicious, but a shame vegans aren’t really catered for.

Our lunch at the Olive was absolutely fab! I’d go as far to say one of the best lunches I’ve had in a very long time. My husband and I both had the mezzes with extra Afghan chicken and pork belly, both were delicious. The service was brilliant too. We’ll be back again very soon!

My daughter and friends came here to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time. They were able to choose from any piece of pottery they wished to, and create beautiful artistic and colourful designs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. All in all a wonderful experience and we will do ti again some time.

Staff and atmosphere was great. Food was enjoyable but some dishes lacked Finesse. I found the scallop dish was average. The dauphinoise was not as indulgent as I would like. The seabass main was tremendous and I loved the truffle fries. My wife said her halloumi starter and pouched chicken was tasty but she agreed about the potatoes needed more salt and cream but I guess that’s individual taste. I would go back to try the other dishes

Visited the Olive tree on a Friday night for a birthday meal. Nice setting, greeted upon arrival and promptly shown our to our table. One of us was vegetarian, it was nice to see more than one option available on the menu! Both of our dishes were amazing , full of flavour and nice presentation. Desserts were superb too. Service was attentive. Couldn't ask for anymore.

Had such a lovely lunch on Saturday 27th September I was so impressed. We had hake and chunky chips with homemade tarter sauce which was amazing! The minted peas were delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection and the chips were light and crispy. We also had a chicken and bacon egg sandwich (triple sandwich can't remember the name ) was so delicious! The service could of been quicker for ordering. And could not leave the premises with out taking a piece of fresh homemade cake ! It was absolutely divine! If your a cake fan this is your spot! Thank you for a wonderful lunch !

Love this place! Great coffees, avocado smash breakfast was awesome, as was the Olive full English! Staff are very attentive and couldn’t be faulted. Love the venue, great sitting outside if the weather is fine, but equally nice indoor environment! Great cakes on offer too, but we were simply too full! Definitely recommend

Visited the Olive tree whilst on a day trip from South Wales. Greeted warmly by staff on arrival, premises were beautiful. Offered water as soon as we sat down. Lots of choices went for the main menu, food was served and presentation and taste were amazing.
