Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilExcellent Sunday lunch. Perfect in every respect! Really tasty food and nice ambience.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsIt was our first time coming to Olive, we found it as part of Somerset Food Trail. It’s the best meal “out” we’ve had in ages, the food was spot on, I just love Mediterranean and North African food and this did a great job plus with the fresh leaves from the garden and extra touches to the salad, it really made it superb. The turmeric latte was fab too. The service was amazing, especially as I took so long to decide what to have (everything please!) We’ll definitely will come back, not living locally it’ll be a special trip, but well worth it- hopefully next time we can bring friends or family too. And next time I’ll try the cocktails- they looked lush!
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilA delicious breakfast treat for a Saturday morning - they even crisp the bacon just right! I think it may become a family tradition to treat ourselves and have breakfast here
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilA good location in Wells, and lovely food. We especially enjoyed to Goats Cheese crostini, the Crab Linguini, the Mussels and the Beetroot en Croute. The Eton Mess was imaginative and good. A leisurely lunch.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsGenuinely really impressed. Booked late on Sunday for a birthday celebration. We were made to feel really welcome. Some champagne was provided and nothing seemed to be an issue. The food portions were superb but the advice to share was justified. The food and flavours of the lamb were absolutely sensational. We all absolutely loved the flavour and vibe. Will most certainly eat there again. Thanks so much.
Two Crows – Bristol City CentreWe had a wonderful cream tea yesterday, everything was perfection, including the staff.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilWe had a Sunday lunch . It was okay. The outside area is a little underwhelming. The service was good and the food was okay but not outstanding as all the root vegetables seemed to have been frozen ones and then roasted so either not really roasted or like the roast potatoes - bullets However, the burrata starter was very good with the watermelon, so perhaps it's just the Sunday lunch combo which was probably a short cut for time. It was an extremely hot day so hats off to anyone in the catering trade to be honest!
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsSunday lunch very good as always! Set near outdoor area lovely air there.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilOn a very hot day, the staff were charming and accommodating of our large pushchair/noisy (but cheerful) baby and various demands and we were not rushed at all. Food delicious. Highly recommended and we'll visit again.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsGreat food. loved the choice of veggie dishes! fab service
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsLovely restaurant and food. We felt rather rushed with no proper periods between courses.

The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsNice looking place and clearly popular. Excellent service if a little rushed but that's not a problem, can handle that. Some lovely flavours with the food, which is very nice as a lot of these places fail to deliver. I had the poached chicken which was slightly over done and had no flavour particularly which is always a problem with chicken breast but the sauces made up for it. Personally cooking breast is an art 2 mins too long and you've over done it. The meat really should be brined in my opinion but I gave it a go and it was fine, nothing to write home about. Seabass was great. Something to consider is the mains are very limited, maybe 6 or 7 but I would imagine they are all very good. Is it expensive? Probably but if you can afford it, certainly won't be wasting your money unlike other places but there are plenty of people who don't need to worry about the price going here. Would I eat here again? Probably but would want to see the menu before booking, which you cannot do online as it's not kept up to date!
