We had a very enjoyable evening at the Olive Tree . The atmosphere & ambiance were great & the service & attention to detail were excellent The menu was slightly limiting for me as I have a cheese intolerance but the scallops were delicious. Thoroughly recommend for a good dinner & evening out

My chicken breast with squash emulsion was perfection - simply delicious and they both thoroughly enjoyed their seared seabass fillet, prawn and fennel orzo. The puddings were good too, though a little on the sweet side. They both had Eton Mess and I had the creme brulee. My Dutch brother-in-law who is normally very critical of British food had to actually admit that this meal was superb.

A lovely setting and smart, polite staff, although they (the staff) were a little chaotic and occasionally left plates uncleared and glasses unfilled rather longer than you would expect in a place this expensive and otherwise classy.
