Welcoming and friendly staff - delicious perfectly cooked (of course) salmon with kedgeree. Coffee over ice-cream as no room for a proper pudding. Perfect

Fishers Restaurant – CliftonAs usual the standard of cuisine was excellent. What more can one say! The atmosphere gets a lower score because it should have been buzzing! This restaurant deserves a full house.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsGreat food and service. Sadly the music / acoustics meant the lady we were with couldn’t hear us talk and found it all too much.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsThe staff are always super friendly and just so welcoming. This is such a homely place and the food is so fresh and cooked to perfection with very generous proportions. This is by far our top place to come to for family roast - Father's day and Mother's day were a realy treat! Can not recommned enough!
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsExceptional experience. Food quality and presentation was outstanding as was the service. Highly recommended.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsDinner was lovely. We were only going to have 2 courses but everything was so good we ended up having dessert too. The strawberry soup was lush! Best ingredients, cooked well, presented well, service excellent and price (compared with similar others in the area) was reasonable too. Will defo be back. Thank you.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsRelaxing atmosphere but our first course got served to customers behind us and we both had the fish stew which was delicious but 70% to 80% of the mussels were closed! Also we find the wine is not really up to standard but perhaps we have been unlucky
Fishers Restaurant – CliftonVery good meal and attentive service. We enjoyed the calm quiet atmosphere and it was a good choice for our anniversary meal.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWe always enjoy a meal at fishers but my goodness me they excelled themselves on Friday. After starters which were as usual excellent, the five of us ordered 2 shellfish platters for 2 with 2 added lobsters. I have never had this before, and I will certainly be having it again. Plump sweet mussels in a beautiful tasty creamy sauce, scallops perfectly cooked, tiger prawns that were just cooked so were tender and had absorbed the flavours around them, and juicy, tender, buttery lobster. This was a birthday celebration, and as we all laughed and chatted over this fantastic food we were all sharing and dipping into, I think we realised fishers had made the day even more special. Thank you
Fishers Restaurant – CliftonGood, friendly service and good food at quite reasonable prices
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsGoodfellows is consistently good both with food and service. If we want a beautiful meal we go Goodfellows. Our guests, who had come to us from France said their meal was as delicious as in a good French restaurant
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsIt was great to rediscover Goodfellows following their move from Sadler Street, just down the road. As always, the food and service were both excellent and the new premises are very smart and upmarket. Fresh ingredients are impeccably cooked from scratch and offered with carefully chosen wines. Considering the all-round quality, their prices represent good value. There is no question that Goodfellows are in a league of their own in Wells and the surrounding area: simply the best restaurant for miles and miles and miles.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsExcellent dinner on 8/6/23 Service was great, food was fabulous. Highly recommended.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsDelicous skate, delicious kedgeree, puddings too tempting. Has kept up the standard of cooking over many years. Tables a bit close together but otherwise a great venue
Fishers Restaurant – CliftonWhat a gem of a find The Olive Tree is. We had a beautiful lunch yesterday which was just so tasty and fresh but hot which is quite rare! The sauce as a base for the sea bass was divine. Dessert was just lovely too. Owen our waiter was so professional attentive and knowledgable he was just great. We thought it was brilliant value for the quality we had and it’s now our new place to go. Thank you we highly recommend The Olive Tree in Wells.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsLovely restaurant food very good but the tables for 2 people are not big enough, if you were to order sides it can get very cramped with everything else on the table
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsSuperbly cooked beautifully fresh ingredients efficiently and charmingly served. Great ambience. It is by far our favourite restaurant - anywhere.
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsPerfect, as always. My friend said that it’s the best meal she has eaten in Wells. See you again very soon and thank you
