Radyr Court, The – CardiffThis is a superb pub/restaurant providing real Welsh home-style cooking. At lunchtime and evening there is an extensive menu to choose from at reasonable prices. In my opinion this is one of the best places to eat in Carmarthenshire.
Butchers Arms – CarmarthenQuite simply one of the best meals I have ever had! Two female chefs creating an adventurous and stunning menu. Some local seafood delights I had never heard of before!
Blue Ball Restaurant – TenbyMy family and I had a super meal at the Artramont a few weeks back, a real treat, definitely worth a look if you're in the area. The portions are massive, so I wouldn't recommend wearing a belt!
Artramont Arms – HaverfordwestWonderful restaurant. Food was cooked and presented perfectly. Could not fault. Also had a good menu for children.
Mulberry, The – TenbyI have been cooking Indian food myself for about 25 years, so I understand the use of herbs/spices, and am usually fairly critical. I chose an onion bhaji starter and chicken shashlick as a main dish. The food was served piping hot, with excellent presentation. This was the best Indian meal I've had for a long time. Take away quality also consistent, I? recommend it to anyone!
Golden Tandoori Restaurant – NewportDelicious authentic Thai food. Attentive yet unobtrusive service with warm greetings in Thai. The best Thai restaurant in Cardiff. Highly recommended.
The Thai House – CardiffThe Browns hotel doesn't actually cook the food it is cooked by the New Three Mariners next door, or it did when we ate there, both pubs offer excellent food at reasonable costs, the Browns hotel is more old world style pub, whereas the New Three Mariners is more modern I would recommend either of them
Browns Hotel – CarmarthenRemarkable Tudor interior. Excellent local organic meat. Daily fish specials. Very family friendly.
Plantagenet House – TenbyVery nice place to eat either while out shopping, a treat or a celebration. Daytime 2 course menu - very good and an EXCELLENT price. Fresh produce used, and will omit items from your menu choose if you do not like them, shows that they are not 'massed produced' Very pleasant staff.
Altalia Pizza Pasta – LlanelliAn excellent place to eat, child and 'adult' friendly. A1 all round, large CCTV car park . Non smoking at tables just as it should be. Very good Sunday daytime buffet.
Ali Raj Brasserie – LlanelliThe Boverton castle isn? a restaurant its a pub the only food it sells is pizza but it is very very good he beer there is good aswell it is a nice family pub
Boverton Castle – CowbridgeWe have just returned from a weeks holiday in Tenby, the Candy restaurant was our favourite by far, it offered a wide choice of meals that were well prepared and presented and very good value for money. If you were lucky enough to get a table by the window, the views over the bay were really nice. The staff were pleasant and attentive. We shall certainly return.
Candy Restaurant, The – TenbyReally well worth the visit. Suggest omitting a 'Starter' and having a gorgeous dessert instead ( or in addition ).
Whittington Arms – NeathWe went to this lovely place and had a fabulous meal. We would definitely be going back.
La Trattoria – PontyclunNot the place to go if you're looking for a quick bite with the family but if you want to savour taste in quiet & comfortable surroundings, it's well worth a visit!
The Bell at Skenfrith – AbergavennyAfter a busy day of sight seeing in Cardiff, our evening meal at Bellini's was the perfect way to end it. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable and the price was reasonable. This restaurant is a must for any Italian cuisine fan. Highly recommend the Cabonbara, but beware! Pasta dishes are very large and some what filling! All in all a good quality Italian restaurant that I will visit on many more occasions.
Bellinis – CardiffGreat personal service, interesting and tasty dishes. Broad vegetarian menu (order the mock duck appetizer !) Alan the owner always makes you feel at home and special. Would recommend it to anyone!
Golden Well Restaurant – BridgendAfternoon Tea: For parties of 8 of more a special discounted price of £23 per person.
