I rang up zaal at 8.15pm and ordered a chicken Korma, chicken tikka masala, portion of chips an a portion of rice. I thought this was a simple order! the man on the man on the phone explained it would be delivered by 9pm,that's 45 mins which is fine. an hour and 15 mins later I was still sitting around waiting. I phoned zaal to check if everything was ok and I was told my food was on its way. 15 mins later there was Still no food so I went and looked out of my window to see if the're was any delivery man, to find one wondering down the road with a bag of food. when I got to my door to shout for him he had dissapeared. the same man from zaal that I had spoken to earlier then rang my mobile, explaining they couldn't find my address and they needed my number again (bit confusing why thst needs my number, they obviously had it as they had rung me and I picked up the phone only to find him asking for my number. but still I told him) the man from zaal said the delivery driver would be ringing me. after waiting around some more I rang zaal back and he tried to tell me that they had been ringing my mobile, after I explained that they hadn't a my mobile was in my hand the whole time. as you can imagine at this point I was very frustrated at the drivers since of direction and the rude man I was speaking to from zaal. I explained I would no pay if my food was cold and the man from zaal said I had no choice and would still have to pay even if it was cold. I got the drivers phone number and phoned him to see if he was any politer and to ask where he was. I directed him an finally had my food. he apologised and explained that he went to the wrong address, I find kick up a fuss with him as he was quite young and innocent and was obviously sorry. but I told him of his managers rudeness and he apologised. this man from zaal then ran his driver screaming down th phone at him. I was hungry so I played and started unpacking my meal to find soggy pappadams exploded cold curry and cold rice and chips. terrible service, terrible delivery driver directions, terrible food. I will never order from zaal again an I suggest no one else does unless they want rudeness and bad food. I would have rather had a slice of dry bread.

Food dire. Some buffet trays empty, others with food days old. Obnoxious staff. Too costly.

Have had many lovely sit down meals hear but just received our takeaway and for the fifth time there was food missing from the order. What did arrive wasn't that great either last time I'm pretty sure we were server leftovers from the Sunday buffet. There excuse was they are busy, how can i eat a kebab with no bread, and there was no apology, just told me to share my husbands rice. Will never have food hear ever again. Disgraceful

GOOD FOOD

After hearing a lot of people talking about the portions of food i had to try. Very dissapointed for myself and my wife-i paid double what i would have paid at the harvester for a bag full of curly fries and a pre-cooked dry burger/chicken. Everything was salty and very expensive. Dont waste your money ;-(

This is the only place to eat it's always friendly and the food is consistently great. Try the lasagne. You won't go wrong. We love it here pity it's such a long way away But what is half an hour when you know it will be worth the journey. We have tried to find an alternative but it can't be beat.

The atmosphere is wonderful. Proper cups and saucers make a lovely change from mugs. The gift shop that you walk through to get to the tea room is an emporium filled to the hilt with all sorts of lovely things. The whole ambiance of the place is beautiful.

I was appalled that at the third visit with company, the same poor service still in being. The waitress was excellent but each time I had been I had only started the starter when the main course was planked on the table.I complained the last time without effect.I had to pile the starter onto the same dish as the main course would have been cold.Not an enjoyable 3 evenings - it will not happen again. I was persistant because the other Harvesters I use I have no complaint Its a pity as Carmarthen Harvester was so convenient.

Just the best I have ever tasted. Crispy Chilli beef is to die for. I have delivery. Worth it all. Love it I am a fan.

I eat there today and it was disgusting, they served up a grey thing we later found out it was potato or so they said there also was a carrot mixture which had no flavour at all, the week before we'd been and my little girl had a portion we had the same size plate she had so it wasn't even a adult size portion, one very small roast potato and one of my family didn't even get the basic's like a parsnip, we saw others there with huge portions and decent looking food though they were the rugby players and the girl serving us was ignorant and had no interest in serving she was so busy talking to a bunch of lads. also when complaint was made they removed it from there reviews. Overpriced and generally awful. AVOID!!!!!

I was in this restaurant several times, but after last experience I will not visit anymore. I went there with my husband, and sit at the table for two people. After few minutes one member off staff came to us and said (with no polite tone) "Sorry but this table is reserved". There was no any sign on the table which would say it is reserved but We moved to another table, although I was not excited about it. My husband went to the loo and then she came came again, asking me: "are you only two?" I said yes. Is there any problem? She replied: " if you are only two then then why are you sitting on table for 6 people"? At this point she wanted us to move again to another table. I was upset because in that part of the restaurant all was empty and there were no people. I told her I was sitting at the table for two before she told us to move. At that point I stand up and decided to leave to restaurant. She was so rude, that stand infront of me, in a way that I could not go, telling me not to go and finish my coffee. I left anyway. If she is not happy with customers choosing table, then why she did not show us where to sit when we came there? That is the way they do it in some restaurants. I was never treated so badly in a restaurant before. She made me feel very bad that evening. It was not at all about the table and sadly this seems more like harrasment to me. As I'am foreigner, I think that is why she was treating me this way.I WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN.

Really poor quality Sunday Lunch. Meat pleasant, rest very very poor quality.

The food was nice and in the menu I like the GF, Gluten Free symbol in the menu.

I'm veggie and I was driving through Cardiff with friend. We stopped by Milgi for food and the treatment was substandard. The waitress behind the bar was rude and unfriendly.I would certainly never go there again or recommend this place.
