Horseshoe Inn, The – CowbridgeWe ordered the set meal, a starter, salad, chips and steak complete with a glass of wine. It cost 7.95, was excellent value for money, first class service and first class steak meal. A good sign its always busy and lots of regular diners.
Steak-by-Night – SwanseaAlthough the outside of the building may look a little drab when compared with other curry houses in Swansea, the restaurant has recently undergone refurbishment. The food is excellent, the staff are extremely friendly and the price is unbelievably cheap. It certainly is the best curry house in Swansea. If you go once you'll never go to another curry house again!
Surma Restaurant – SwanseaMy wife and I have had lunch at Morgans a few times now and it never disappoints. The building is stylish and welcoming and the staff are polite and attentive. The food is tasty and the portions are good. It doesn't blow your mind but you get consistency in terms of food quality and service.
Morgans Hotel – SwanseaRecommended to anyone.
Shaan Tandoori – NeathRecently refurbished to a very high standard what a transformation! Sunday lunch was home cooked couldn? do better myself well worth a visit
Westbourne, The – SwanseaThe rising sun is a very friendly place to eat just outside Haverfordwest. The food is excellent (particularly the steak) and the portions are generous for the price. Friendly staff and good service. It is a very popular place to eat and to avoid disappointment you should book.
The Rising Sun Inn – HaverfordwestAMAZING AMAZING AMAZING nothing else to add.
Scalinis Restaurant – CardiffWaited 90mins for our food when there were only two other couples eating. Goodness knows how long you would have to wait if it were busy!!! My steak was tiny nowhere near 10oz more like 3oz. The waiter said Oh the chef said it looked small. After such a long wait this was not what I expected. Why serve it if it below the advertised weight? Will not be going back a pity as the real ales are superb.
Carpenters Arms, The – SwanseaExcellent Value and Great Service! Go Go Go!
Steak-by-Night – SwanseaWhat a place to take the kids on a hot summers day! Us parents sat in a large beer garden under sunshades watching our children play on the outdoor toys and electric motorbikes while food and drinks were served by friendly, helpful staff. The food is excellent by the way and not expensive. We sat their all day as the kids didn't want to go home. Will definitely be coming back next summer!!
Woodridge Inn – TenbyThe manager uses locally produced food which is served quickly and efficiently by trained staff. The tiramisu is to die for!
The Bristol Trader – HaverfordwestFab food, service, atmosphere. recommend the garlic bread. Best to book for the weekend as it is very busy. Love the place.
Merolas – CardiffRelaxed, contemporary, smart and sophisticated and that? just the staff honestly this restaurant ticks all boxes at last South Wales has a restaurant to be proud of, who needs London anyway?
Coast Restaurant – PorthcawlProper, local food cooked properly and an enjoyable meal. Landlady believes in using local ingredients wherever possible and this specifically means chicken that has not travelled the world and been frozen/chilled/bleached/injected with antibiotics and beef remnants. Highlight.
White Mill Inn – CarmarthenWe stayed there just days after Christmas for my wife? birthday and ate in the restaurant. We found all three courses were beautifully prepared and the service was warm and friendly. Certainly no Christmas hangovers for the staff of this restaurant. Thank you.
Bagle Brook Beefeater Restaurant and Bar – Port Talbotwell worth the visit, food takes its time but all cooked to order and the freshest i have ever tasted
La Trattoria – PontyclunA nice little pub that has retained the feeling of being a nice little local. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals (which were very well cooked), however, I would disagree with previous points about the variety of dishes on the menu. Although what they do they do very well, a few more vegetarian choices (and more original ones at that) would add to the Buck Inn's appeal. A wider choice of ales might be beneficial too. But don't be put off, it's well worth a visit.
