I have used this restaurant twice on my two visits to Liverpool and found their food and services are excellent. I would recommend it to everyone, and will use it on every visit I make to Ellesmere Port. Great atmosphere and great friendly and welcoming people. Many thanks

Really enjoyed it, very attentive staff, manager mucked in serving too, felt welcome, drinks fabulous big fan of cocktails!! Porn star fave, with passion fruit, vanilla vodka and champagne shooter comes on side! Nice beers for boys too, estralla and peroni a fave with him. Sat at bar, nice mix of people, will try food next time.

I recently had my 60th Birthday celebration at Lyme Breeze, the buffet was fantastic, the atmosphere great, we did have a dj who got everyone in high spirits, Shelia, Kevin and the staff worked very hard to make sure everyone had a fab time. I would recommend anyone, any age to book your celebration at Lyme Breeze, you will not be disappointed. Also great for Sunday lunch , or Fri/Sat night really good value for money

VERY DISAPPOINTING I ate here with a group of friends recently and was not impressed. The food was expensive and poor quality. The risotto had to be returned as it was lukewarm and the lamb kebab was gristly. My meal was the mackerel, undercooked and served with tasteless asparagus and an unpleasant potato salad that had been around for a while by the look of it. Would not recommend

We visited the General Elliott last night 04.06.11 to celebrate our Fathers 70th Birthday. I can honestly say that the greeting we received was very welcoming and the waiting staff were attentive and friendly and could not do enough for all of us, it made this a special celebration for all of my family. My particular favourite was the starter I had the tempura, and I would have liked to pass my compliments to the chef. The General Elliott is one place I would recommend and visit again.

Very friendly, great atmosphere and with appeal to a wide multicultural mix; fantastic range of bottled an cask ales - including a lovely German Kolsch. Highly recommended.

Stopped off here to pick up a takeaway on a Wednesday night after the pub. Restaurant looked pretty busy, but the service was good and quick, offered a drink as we waited, I like these touches. Food was ready before I could finish my beer. Got it home and weren't disappointed. Nice large portions, looked great, tasted great and nice to see in wasn't covered in grease. We will definitely visit again, probably book a table in the restaurant.

The troat masala is to die for. Fantastic range of dishes, from traditional indian favourites to modern twists with ingredients. You will go back time and time again.

I have visited the restaurant on a number of occasions. The atmosphere is excellent. I don't feel that the food is good value for money, it is overpriced and over-rated.

Just minutes from the Railway Station, they have a wide range of stock. Fresh or frozen with all the spices and seasoning make you own Thai meal. For quick and easy meals, their range includes a variety of ready made pastes save you all the trouble of preparation. Light snacks or sauces, utensils or recipe books, everything is here in one place. Parking is available in many of the streets nearby. So if you enjoy Thai food and would like to start making your own dishes, it’s well worth a visit. A note - they have expanded their store and move closer to Wood Street

Amazing food The Hatton Arms is becoming a regular outing for me and my wife, we have yet to find anything that would even come close to requiring a complaint. The cider glazed Pork belly is one of the best I have ever tasted, and the fillet steak is simply melt-in-the-mouth and full of flavour. The bar is always well stocked, and no request ever goes unseen to. I fully recommend dining here, especially on a Sunday as the Roast has to be one of the best in the area.

Quintessential village pub. A local hub but welcoming to visitors. I can highly recommend the Hatton Gold bitter brewed locally at the Coach House brewery. Bar food is good and the restaurant is excellent.

Took my wife to Lyme Breeze for an evening meal. The building looks unimpressive from the outside but the food and service was really good. No a la carte menu, but good starters, salad and main courses and very good value for money. Fish and chips was the best we've had for a very long time.

we eat at the memphis belle often, one of the best carveries around. The menu is also fab. Would love to know how much and if you are doing Christmas day lunch this year. We like to book early. With regards Lynn and Bobby

Our monthly dinner club visited last night, so glad we did. Lovely setting, nice staff. Ordered our food and starter arrived within 10 mins. Pigeon was little over cooked but lovely, pate was fab also the snails yum. Main courses arrived 15 mins after starters finished all piping hot and filling the plates. Portion size can certainly not be griped at unless you order the apple pie. After such homely starters and mains expected the same from pudding but not to be with the apple pie very small and thin portion lovely custard though and sticky toffee pudding oh yes. Would certainly revisit and recommend.Excellent value for money and smashing atmosphere. Lewis Reed Dinner Club
