I've been here three times as have my parents, and think it's great for people of all ages. Great food, service and atmosphere. Cocktails very good too, maybe not a good idea to drink the whole list in one sitting!

Cafe Salar – LymmOwned by conman DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE
Cafe Salar – Lymmthis was recommended by someone we spoke to in a Knutsford car park , we had been to the Tatton Park flower show and were unfamiliar with the area, and needed to eat! This restaurant ticked every box. The staff were great, lots of smiles, the service was great, the interior was fascinating to look at , and best of all the food was tremendous!! I don't usually get into reviews but this was one I couldn't pass by. We live in Northumberland by the way but already I have passed on details of Mae Gaew -- just in case anyone is passing --- . A five star experience!
Mae Gaew Thai Restaurant – KnutsfordFantastic crowd, great cocktails, good food. We had a ball.
Cafe Salar – Lymmthe best thing that's come to lymm for a long time. I cant recommend it enough.
Cafe Salar – LymmThis is the best good quality restaurant i have ever been to i highly recommend it and also fantastic prices
Cafe Naj – ChesterThis is a cut above the rest of Warrington dining spots. The food is excellent, with some great value offers. However, the service sets it head and shoulders above any other local dining experience. try it - it's great!
The Grill on the Square – WarringtonMy friend and I were at Jabula last Friday and we had just an amazing night. The meal was to celebrate my friend's birthday and we received a few special surprises!! We would definitely recommend the atmosphere on a Friday night with the North African drummers playing in the background, and with the amazing food, perfect atmosphere and excellent service!
Jabula Restaurant – Ellesmere PortDined at Oddfellows, Chester last week with friends, food and service was fab and the atmosphere was good considering it was midweek. We enjoyed drinks outside after the meal and was lovely to have table service outside and not have to keep going to the bar. Cant wait for our next visit
Cultivated by Elliot Hill @ Oddfellows – ChesterGreat venue, great food and great service - for a pub. Very family orientated and outside dining always a plus in the summer. Get there early, especially at weekends, to avoid disappointment. The only downside would be that service can be slow, mainly for the reason above, but with young children it can lead to frustration all round!
Plough and Flail Inn The – KnutsfordWorst restaurant in Cheshire. Food average and over priced. Staff trained far too much, like robots. Service, fake and unwanted. Total disappointment.
Pesto at Cabbage Hall – TarporleyThe food was awful and made us feel sick. My husband has spotted a dead fly in his dish....I wouldn't go back to this place again. Do not recommend!!
Cock O’Barton – MalpasI have visited Grill on the Square several times now and been thoroughly impressed on every occasion. Perfect range of choice on the menu, food is served piping hot and always tastes delicious. Service is second to none. Cocktails are great. All priced exactly right and set in a lovely restaurant. The new owners have done a great job with this restaurant. Have and will continue to recommend this restaurant.
The Grill on the Square – WarringtonFantastic food, very reasonable...great cocktails and the best pint of Peroni! would definitely recommend,
Firenze – NantwichI recently attended a wedding at Peckforton Castle and thought the food was dreadful. I was astounded to find out the food and drinks package was £100 per guest. For that I got: * the worst, dish-water tasting soup I have ever tasted * a stodgy, tasteless vegetarian stew (which seemed to consist of carrots, some dumpling and some pale-looking tasteless "gloop" * a bowl of strawberries and cream * approx 1-2 glasses of very average wine. The Marks and Spencer Dine In for £10 is much tastier and filling than the food served here. What's more the staff who were waiting on the tables didn't seem ot have much of a clue about what they were doing. In the evening there was a very small buffet, mainly a few wraps, some chicken legs and some potato wedges. I understand the new owners have made some improvements to the activities on offer and the interior of the castle, but they could do with providing some training to their staff on customer service. In fact, when we raised some of our concerns with management we also found them very lacking in customer service too.
1851 Restaurant @ Peckforton Castle – TarporleyI found the food disappointing, my partner asked for his steak to be cooked rare - medium rare, when it was served, one very small piece was well done and the other very small piece was medium to well done. The 2 very small pieces of steak were accompanies with a large portion of mashed potato, quite obviously to pad out the portion. My reservation was on a Saturday night, the restaurant was not full, but was incredibly noisy and lacked atmosphere. To be honest, I was disappointed with the overall experience I had whilst visiting this restaurant and did not feel that I received value for money.,
Peruga At Woodheys – MarpleThe Pizza and Peroni £9.00 meal deal was perfect for a 'working Dinner'. The surroundings are very nice and the courtyard area at the rear a very pleasant place to relax after eating. All round nice place.
Firenze – NantwichHave had take-away twice from Cherry Valley and both times found it to be OK but no more. Fairly pricey considering the quality.
