I eat out frequently and usually choose somewhere recommended by word of mouth. The food here was amongst the best. I had Risotto which was extremely tasty, and my friend ordered the roast beef which came out with the biggest Yorkshire pudding I've ever seen, and side dish of fresh (not microwaved) seasonal vegetables. The puddings were mouth-watering...strawberry flambé was delicious. Presentation was also impeccable. The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced and I thoroughly recommend the White Lion, Audlem Road, Hankelow.

We have just returned from an evening at Peruga, our first visit there and we were not disappointed. As stated previously the menu is limited, however the food was fantastic. I enjoyed the Oat rolled Mackerel so much that I was a little cheeky & asked how it was cooked! The Chef came out to tell me at which point we were able to compliment him. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return very soon.

Its often the case that you go back to a restaurant and it doesn't live up to your memory, so when we returned here we did so with some trepidation. Not to worry. why the place remains a hidden gem I don't know. I do like my food cooked to my taste, not slapped down as the chef turned it out. Nothing from plastic bags, and no nouvelle cuisine, fresh home cooked and plenty of it. Delicious

This is a small restaurant in gorgeous surroundings. staff are not impolite but they seem not to care about making you feel comfortable or special something just seems to be missing. the food itself(I had the steak) was delicious but eat before you go as portions are small and expensive ,but we had snacks as well from the cellar bar which is casual dining but better value and gorgeous thick chips

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Every time I visit England I visit Chesters. The food is outstanding, the service is wonderful. You feel like your one of the family.

The Honeybee is a lovely county pub which me and my family and partner often visit. The staff are very welcoming and the food is good value for money. This weekend we enjoyed the sunshine in their large outside eating area with beautiful country views.

It's been here since 1981 but this was my first visit! Excellent food, everything was very fresh and nicely presented. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. Good value for money, even more so as there was 20% discount on the evening we went. I will be back again soon!

Good meal, the best in Chester

I have visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch on two occasions. As I live over one hour away, I do not visit as often as I would like. All I can say is the food is fresh, well cooked and excellent value for money. The place is also spotlessly clean. Last Sunday there were several large parties taking place, there seemed to be at least 2 birthdays and one wedding anniversary. I am not surprised, it would not be worth cooking at home for a crowd, when Pecks offers the quality and value that it does. Everyone, from babies to great grandparents seemed to be enjoying themselves. Pecks could do with being in every town. Treat yourselves, I am sure you will not come away hungry or disappointed, but don't forget to book and expect to pay about £20/head to include drinks and three very good courses.

My family and I come to this restaurant frequently. We simply can? find anywhere better (not that we want to). I would suggest anybody wanting fantastic food to go and eat here but hurry the place is up for sale :(

just been done up, is very very nice!

a bit dark and cramped inside. but the food makes up for this, outstanding, service was very good as well. not the best place for a family meal but a great bet for a friends night out.

i visited the "toby carvery" on a sunday for a carvery roast the chefs are on hand to slice up any of turkey, pork or gammon. they are a little tight-fisted on the meat, but you get as much veg, gravy and sauce as you like. its a real feast!

I would heartily recommend this deli. Sit in and enjoy delicious lunches...the Italian platter is superb, as is the homemade liver pate. Cakes re sublime. What a gem!

I have been to this restaurant whenever there has been a special occasion over the last 4 years. The standards of food, service and the atmosphere are unbeatable. If you are looking for a quality English restaurant for a special occasion Pecks is hard to beat! It is unique with its Dinner at Eight concept. Each evening there is one sitting which is at Eight. You can go for a 5 or 7 course meal. It is a complete dining experience spread leisurely over the evening.

For all those who visited the Castle under it's previous owners and have decided to not go back (I don't blame you I used to work there I know exactly how bad it was!) Do go back. Under the new owners the Naylors, it has come on leaps and Bounds. I will definitely be going back, not as staff but as a customer time and time again something I never saw happening.

Try this first, it is without doubt the best Indian in Nantwich.
