We have eaten several times at the Bhurtpore and always had an excellent meal. They do crackin' curries too, very authentic. The Real Ales are a bonus.

A cut above the average pub, probably because this place isn't clearly owned by a large chain. Decent beer on tap, and a wide range of fish and meat specials plus a decent standard menu selling all the usual pub fayre. Food was well executed with no fuss. It's not quite a gastro-pub, but closer than many others round there! Recommended if you fancy a decent pub meal in a genuinely uncontrived relaxed country pub atmosphere.

Ace service and food. spot on

An old fashioned pub. Good beer and wines and simple but well presented lunchtime food.

Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Cheshire. We've tried others but always end up back at The Jade Buddha. The owners are lovely people and always treat you as though you are a valued customer even if it is some time since you have visited. Food is excellent and even when they are busy you are not made to feel as though you should rush to leave to make way for the next customer

Another great meal, my two year old and me this time, she is well catered for, and you can see how welcome families are for the amount that were there at lunch. Service very good and attentive. Busy for a Wednesday keep it up.

We eat here with our two under six year olds regularly. What a fab place, kids are catered for so embarrassing looks as they behave impeccably and a colouring book to entertain them. Food is great and lots of it Try the Brownie popcorn dessert it is awesome (and massive) Keep it up

The Sunday buffet experience here is a very enjoyable one. It's a noisy, bustling, informal family occasion and you had better book ahead. Starters are all the classic Thai dishes, satays, fishcakes, spring rolls, soup, crackers and zingy dips. There were several main courses included prawns, beef and pork all with different sauces and vegetables plus noodles and rice. The staff concentrate on keeping the supplies renewed, so as you keep coming back for more it's always fresh and hot. The food quality seemed to me to be as good as the pricier evening meals, but of course there is less choice and no personal service or fancy presentation. In all the bustle, I was served a bottle of wine in an ice bucket, and the waitress rushed off without opening it and had to be chased. You can have a blow-out for your fixed price and you are not pushed to spend on drink if don't want to, so long live the Chilli Banana's popular Sunday buffet.

I love this restaurant, after living in the Far East for many years, it is nice to eat genuine Chinese food, rather than the anglicised sweet & sour /chow mein approach to Chinese food. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for.

We've eaten here many times and it knocks other Macclesfield Thai restaurants for 6 when it comes to quality of food, friendliness of staff and even price. Overall, one of Macclesfield's best restaurants. Way ahead of the Chilli Banana on all criteria (though the CB does have a nicer building)

We had asked the staff to cook us some tapas. We were promised 5 dishes and in the end had 12! Excellent tapas and Sangria even a regular wine drinker can drink! The restaurant had been decorated when we arrived, in the traditional red and yellow of the Spanish flag. If you need a great dining experience, without the cost of specialist establishments, this is the place.

Cow And Calf Inn – Marple
The Ham

I recently visited the Windmill Inn and had an excellent meal. The food was prepared to the highest standard. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!

This is a restaurant is the old schoolhouse in Cholmondeley it is full of character with good wholesome food and good service. Complete with log fire on a winters evening.

This is a great place for the whole family, Gran likes it too as kids are so well catered for with colour packs and balloons and they like the food too. Recommend this. Also the off shoot Little Frankies at Westbrook Odeon Warrington is cool.

Sunday Lunch at the Yellow Broom is a luxurious foodie way to spend a Sunday afternoon. You need to book but timing is very flexible starting at noon and bookings up to 3 p.m. are accepted! The 3 course menu is £15.95 plus extra for coffee and petit fours. An excellent wine list which can be pricey but easy to find a good wine at around £20 a bottle. Menu is predominately modern english. There is always fish on the menu and a vegetarian choice. There is a charming bar area where you sit and make your menu choice before moving into the dining room which has been recently extended by a lovely conservatory. You can return to the bar area for coffee after your meal. Well behaved children with good table manners are welcomed but it is predominately an adult environment. This is a place we never tire of and are never disappointed on regular visits.

The Belle is perfect for a quiet friendly meal with family or as a couple. The staff are excellent. There is a nice friendly atmosphere.
