Nice restaurant. Does decent Chinese food with no fuss and pretension. Relaxed decor, nice staff. Good position next to the Traveler's Rest.

My mum once found a slug in her salad there. But apart from that, it? a fantastic, clean, friendly place with lovely staff and beautiful food. The price is right too!!

Excellent food and service at a reasonable price. My wife and I have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and never been disappointed. The place is absolutely spotless. Unusual to find an Indian restaurant owned by an English couple but it works as they have helped create an atmosphere rather different to most Indian restaurants. Very popular so bookings would be necessary at weekends.

Food was very good, especially the sizzling fillet steak dishes. Definitely recommend it as the best Chinese in Macclesfield.

I keep coming back to this one - sometimes a hit of chili is exactly what's needed & you can get it here! The menu covers a range of spiciness , with meat, fish & vegetarian choices. The specials are always worth trying for something a bit different. Not sure if you like Thai food? Start with the Sunday buffet. Best tip? Book!

My wife and I have visited this restaurant twice in the past month on both occasions the food really was outstanding. The service was fantastic. One gripe would be the owners passion for abusing his staff in public, this happened on both visits and it is not pleasant for the staff or the customers.

A small country pub with a small car park opposite. Ground floor is the pub, with a dedicated restaurant upstairs. Varied menu, with home made soup at £3.25. Thai filo prawns at £4.95. For a main course try the " Zarzaula," a Catalan fish dish made with, Cod, Prawns, Salmon, Mussels in a tomato /chili sauce at £10.95. This is a free house serving, Phoenix Arizona, Boddies, Adnams & usually a guest ale. Good quality food at reasonable prices.

Lovely food, very friendly and speedy service. Waiter was very cheery but would have benefited from a clean shirt.

Sunday lunch at reasonable price, "Hydes" beers. Can get busy on a sunny day, Not much car parking. Meals well prepared.Converted barn style interior. Value for money.

A typical "Robbies" pub, back room used as a restaurant, quite small but the Sunday dinner at £5.95 for 3 courses is very very good, home cooking at its best. Tends to get quite busy on Sundays so booking recomended. Large car park at rear, some outside seating available. Just being re decorated.

Nice small country pub. Bit hard to find at a dead end, large car park outside childrens play area. Very nice for a trip out with the kids & get something to eat. Small separate dining area, Specials board & more or less the usual pub type food offerings, including "Sizzler" plates the food is Ok & well presented. Wine about 7 squid a bottle. Usually have a guest beer on. Sunday the have a quiz going on so if you arrive a little late eat & quiz if you can.

The food is well "brewers fayre" nothing out of the ordinary. large car park at side. Smallish pub with restaurant. Some seating with views of the adjacent river.
