Excellent chicken Sunday Lunch by the fire. Washed down with a couple of Dizzy Blondes.

Ok the weather outside was terrible but the welcome inside La Mezzaluna quickly warmed us up. After an afternoon of shopping we were ready for a nice restaurant to relax in. La Mezzaluna didn’t disappoint. it’s a small bustling family run place with really excellent food at great prices. My wife took the recommended seabass which was outstanding and I enjoyed a great pasta dish. Don’t miss out on the bruschetta or focaccia mista which are on a par with the best we’ve had. The Puglian red wine was a real treat! We’re already talking about when we can make our next visit and hopefully the weather will be better!

I can’t believe a lovely Italian restaurant has been this close to the train station all this time and we’ve been missing out! It’ll definitely become a regular haunt for us when we travel from Dumfriesshire for shopping trips. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and very efficient.

Went for lunch yesterday and the service and food was excellant. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had 2 tables one for the teenagers and one for the mams it was perfect! Thanks

We had a fabulous meal. It's a lovely cosy dining room with lots of old features, and open fires. The staff were brilliant, very efficient and very happy to help. Would definitely recommend it.
