We had Sunday lunch yesterday, was fantastic. Very generous portions. Service was warm and welcoming also.

Myself and 2 friends booked a table at the Cow Shed Sunday morning for breakfast. We had a nice walk along the beach first.I had a small breakfast, it was very nice. One friend had the mushroom on toast. She said it was ok but she wouldn’t have it again. The latte I had was very nice. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food. Overall we enjoyed our visit. We would certainly go again. The 2 young girls who served were very pleasant.

We booked our table for Sunday lunch- booking definitely advisable & recommended. I had the perfectly cooked (pink) beef & my husband had the chicken. Fresh vegetables accompanied our meal & we thoroughly enjoyed every delicious mouthful. Staff were friendly, only marked down slightly because it’s no longer table service- I have seen people leave without paying so I understand why.

Excellent as usual with food and service

Staying in Staveley during the Easter holidays . Thoroughly enjoyed a lovely evening meal, although weren’t prepared for such large portions. Northern portions are larger than Southern ones! Very friendly, well trained serving staff with food served efficiently.

Amazing all round! Hotshot Parmo was outstanding, the kids loved their pasta and Parmo too! Lovely venue and staff great also.

What a fantastic find! Lovely ambience on a very wet evening. Staff warm and welcoming. Varied menu with something to please everyone. One of our party is vegan and commented she was very excited at the choice. We chose a number of dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them all - impossible to chose a favourite. A great experience and one we will definitely repeat.

Excellent meal and great service. It’s good to see that after our last visit over 18 months ago the meal standard and the service are still excellent. Personally I could not fault a thing.

Our second visit, but we were treat like old friends. Lovely service, wonderful food and prices that don't make you think twice about dining out. Whether it's the exceptionally fine carpaccio of smoked salmon, the truly Italian authentic olives, or the heavenly chocolate fudge cake, you simply can't go wrong.

Booked for a work outing. We all chose from the early bird menu, plenty of choices. The starters included seafood with no extra charge. Great friendly staff & were welcomed warmly.

Visited this restaurant as it had been a year since we’d been to Crete and wanted some traditional Greek food to remind us of our holiday, It did not disappoint the food was fantastic and only probably topped by the service. We will definitely be using this restaurant again and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of authentic Greek food and hospitality

We came to Ilkley for the weekend to watch a rugby match. We went up on to Ilkley Moor (Baht 'at), watched the rugby and managed to get a table at Brooks. If you don't mention the rugby score we had a wonderful weekend, and Brooks on Saturday night was the crowning glory. A warm welcome on arrival, efficient and friendly service, a good selection of both food and drink on the Menu, and delicious food when it was served. It was fairly quiet when we arrived at 7:15 but jam packed when we left, and I'm not surprised! I'm always dubious about writing good reviews because it reduces the chances of getting in next time we want to! However, we do live 70 miles away so we need to plan well in advance anyway. Here's to the next time!

Always excellent food and excellent service. Couldn’t ask for more! Even feels like you’re in Greece, especially in the summer when the bi-fold doors are open. See you next time.

Super food, the portions were very generous with a great choice of craft/cask ales. Friendly and helpful staff. We ll be visiting again!
