We love the magpie cafe and go every year for a treat at Christmas time. Fantastic service every time from the wonderful staff and the best fish and chips you can get. Highly recommend as the best place to eat in Whitby!

It was not our first visit and despite the restaurant being quiet, the food was excellent, and as the main was all cooked fresh, we enjoyed a bottle of wine and a nice starter whilst we were waiting. Nothing is too much trouble. Overall such a pleasant experience after being stuck at home for a month.
