What a wonderful restaurant, with the best customer service I have seen for a long time. The best south Indian food I have had, freshly and beautifully cooked and when I asked for a Lassi, I was informed that it was the season for Mango and given a fabulous mango Lassi and then after the meal, a chopped mango to taste. What thoughtful people and they teach you how to make the food as well. Heaven! thank you.

Red Chilli II – WakefieldI have been coming to Aldo's since I moved to the area 15 years ago. I loved the atmosphere and welcome then and it just grows and grows on you. The food is fantastic, fresh, perfectly proportioned and tasty. It has inspired me to try and copy some dishes, but try as i may, i can not get that finished feel for the dishes that Aldo's has mastered. The new bar adds to something that was brilliant anyway. Many have competed, but there is only one Italian restaurant in Cleckheaton.......

Food not brilliant - and when Complained, the friendliness stopped! £18 for steak pie is expensive, if good then I wouldn't mind - it was poor. Didn't remove from the bill, when requested, it was removed and bill slammed back on desk without eye contact. Will not return

A warm, friendly welcome always awaits and this followed by beautifully tasty pizzas and amazing king prawn dishes always ensures a great evening. Great night out with family, friends and our daughter goes there with her friends too. Can't recommend it enough.

Towngate Fisheries – BradfordHad the complete misfortune to call here for lunch one day...If you are Vegetarian..just forget it! The staff think that being a vegetarian means that you will still eat fish! They did have an old mouldy vegetable kiev lurking about in the freezer that was left from when it was on the old menu..but we declined that kind offer! We settled for mushroom soup which didn't taste of mushrooms at all but of bovril!,,then apple and blackberry crumble which was served upside down...we weren't sure if they were trying to do things differently here..but I don't think we were that lucky..they just couldn't be bothered to get it on the dish the right way up! The coke we had to drink was flat!..and we wondered why the carpark was empty! NEVER AGAIN!
Black Bull – WakefieldWhen you first walk into this place it looks like a dodgy old pub..but then you are taken upstairs to a beautiful big room with high ceilings and lots of space.The tables are spread apart so that you feel like you are there on your own and can have your own private conversation which is lovely.The lady who took our order never smiled and did this scary thing of writing down our order without looking at her order pad but staring into our eyes so intently that i thought she was trying to hypnotise us!..However, that didn't put us off.The food was really lovely and good value for money and the rest of the staff friendly.Had a wonderful meal and will definitely go again.

Aldo’s Pizzeria – CleckheatonMy birthday meal 17/05/2011 7.45pm 4 of us at our table --my guests meals and the salad was fabulous !staff brilliant and service , However I had nachos they were revolting --asked for some more melted cheese on it came back still could not eat it dry inedible ruined my night also may I suggest that you put the dips in little containers instead of throwing it on the top . came out for a nice birthday treat -got dried up nachos --might as well have had a packet crisp with a dip what a waste of money .
