Extremely small portions and over priced. Charges restaurant prices but gives pub service i.e. waiter collecting unused wine glasses whilst people are eating desserts. Not good.

Chadwicks Inn – MiddlesbroughUndoubtedly the best vegetarian food - the special chatt is a must try. By far the best I have tasted! Keep up the excellent work!
Prashad – Bradford"best Indian restaurant in Huddersfield"? I would say average at best with over-exuberance in the use off food colouring and cheap reformed poultry. It is a welcoming and busy place, but there is better in the area.
Solos Tandoori Restaurant – HuddersfieldThe Old Steps just gets better and better. The lunchtime food must be the most reasonably priced and imaginatively presented in Leeds, thanks to French chef Raphie. The menu changes regularly and the drinks are also very good, they serve Leeds Brewery ale among other things. Very highly recommended.
Old Steps – Leeds City CentreI have brought my grandsons here for many years it has always been satisfactory , they have now grown up and they are bringing their girlfriends and their girlfriends families, so now we all get together at celebration times , the food is just as good , service excellent and the price if very competitive.
Blue Sky Cantonese Restaurant – BradfordAbsolutely fabulous! Gorgeous food and the service is excellent. Can't wait to go back.
Prashad – BradfordGreat place for lunch, fab food and surroundings
Keys, The – HuddersfieldWe have been going here for years. Since my last review in 2006 I must have had at least 100 meals in this Pub and never had a bad experience. Both the food and the service are both as equally consistent. I even convinced workmates to try this pub out on a Lunchtime, we pre-order and it's always ready withing a few minutes of us all arriving. There is only one downside, there is so much on the menu that my wife likes that it always takes her ages to decide what to have! One tip though - if you want to go on a Sunday you will need to pre-book as its always busy !
British Oak Inn – WakefieldI have to say i was very surprised by the positive comments on here. I have a different view unfortunately...It was the first (and last) time we had been to Marinetti and were hoping for more...we ordered the tomato bread (pizza) to eat whilst looking at the menu....we both wanted pate (not available) so decided just to order main course.we were still eating the tomato bread when the main arrived and the bread was whisked away, disgraceful!...my friend had chicken mushroom and pasta which to be quite honest could easily have come from a jar.....I had a steak Diane....the steak was beautifully cooked, exactly as I had asked (medium rare) however the sauce was bland to the point of being almost invisible....the vegetables that came with the steak were overcooked......I left most of my meal and the waitresses did comment so I told her the problem which fell on deaf ears, nothing was said so what was the point in her commenting? The restaurant looks rather dated and the toilets are up lots and lots of stairs which is off putting as it is also freezing when you get there...takes you some time to warm up again when you get back to your table......overall I would give this restaurant 2/10 and that is only because the wine was nice and my steak was cooked perfectly
Cafe Marinetti – HorsforthNot recommended Service terrible
Akbars – Leeds City CentreWell this place defiantly lives up to its name producing fresh and top quality food and all delivered with friendly and very helpful staff, well worth the trip from Kent.
Prashad – BradfordWas recommend this little Hotel from a friend and was not let down. Went on a Wednesday night and dined in the lounge area, thou it did have a restaurant feel. I had the scallops to start with black pudding and my partner had the goats cheese tart. Both presentation was fantastic and the taste was fantastic. (We are a couple you have to taste each others!) Mains was a nice tender piece of calves liver on mustard mash, cooked just right to melt in my mouth and my partner had the pork fillet, which again was beautifully presented and the taste to accompany! The mains was served with a side of vegetables thou i am sorry to say i could fit any more in. I was to full for dessert, but my partner had a lovely chocolate fudge cake (Ok i had a little taste) All in all, i lovely recommendation and i will be returning soon
Kyte Hotel – PontefractA fantastic Sunday Carvery. A choice of a small or regular plate. We opted for the regular, thinking small would be too small and the regular was huge - tender pork with crackly crackling, a large variety of veg and all served with humour and good will. Unbelievable.
Bluebell Inn – PontefractJust popped in to use their toilet, to tell the truth! Then had a peek at the menu over a drink. Decided I wasn't too hungry so ordered a ham sandwich, thinking that is what I would get. Well, when it arrived it was superb, and accompanied by a lovely salad! All very fresh and tasty and beautifully presented. Absolutely delicious! Returned a couple of weeks later, ordered the same, hoping it would be as good as previously. It was! A very large young man appeared from the kitchen and laid it before my companion and I with a cheerful flourish, wishing us Bon Appetit in a Scottish accent..... Next time I am going to try something from their main menu, having heard some great reports.
The New Conservatory – Leeds City CentreHi my partner and i all ways visit you every 3 weeks as his family live in scarbrough as we travel from Northampton , we recommend this to any one who is staying in scarborough for there holidays regards Claire
Scalby Manor – ScarboroughThis is a fabulous restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful in recommending dishes from the extensive vegetarian menu. We chose a selection of dishes as we wanted to sample as much as possible. When the food arrived the waiter explained what each dish was. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was delicious, the best we have ever tasted and very reasonable prices. We couldn't fault the food or service in any way. Definitely worth the journey from Coventry, two very satisfied customers. Keep up the good work!
Prashad – BradfordPrashad should have won the final as their food is not only delicious and fresh but a good price. We first went there several years ago and the standard is even better now.
Prashad – BradfordEaten at mumtaz and akbars and loads of restaurants such as Indian palace but bollywood is the best in 30 years of eating curries
