Very good venue and location, spa facilities very good.... all round very nice place

i love this restaurant and have been a good few times now. its a very friendly place with staff greeting you as you come in to shaking your hand when you leave. the food is superb at a very valuable price and extremely delicious. wide choice of menu catering for many. can not beat the quality of the staff or the food. Zak is an excellent manager and treats his staff and customers with excellent respect

My boyfriend and I went for lunch we hadn't booked thinking it would be quite but when we arrived it was very busy, we were told the wait would be 20 minutes but didn't mind so sat down and had a drink. After getting sat down and ordering we waited about another 20 minutes for our food which was superb, I had sausage, mash n a Yorkshire pudding. I was so pleased with my meal and the Yorkshire pudding was the best I'd tasted in a long time n it was huge. My boyfriend had fish n chips n again that was beautiful, the fish was also very big. The staff we so lovely and smiley even though they were very busy, the surroundings are very tastefully decorated also n there is a lovely beer garden out the back. Overall very pleased with our visit and therefore have booked for 11 of us next week. I would say definitely book to make sure you get a table.

the food served consists of childrens portions which includes lumpy taties and watery gravy and the current tenants are quite unfriendly and surly and running down what the previous temporary managers had built up.

This is an amazing place, the food is really good value and tastes great, there is so much choice too. The staff go out of there way to do anything for you and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have an upstairs aswell and cater for large bookings and you can also hire the bar down stairs. All in all a great place which i will be visiting again!

Small, cosy restaurant, serving excellent vegetarian food. The food is spicy but not hot and the menu is more unusual than most run of the mill Indian restaurants. The service is excellent and the food arrives quickly. I would certainly go again.

I ate there yesterday 22/08/2010 with my family for my birthday... The meal was excellent, great menu control and the children ate well which is unusual. The service was great and the owner was nice and friendly. We are so impressed we are going to look into having our Christmas meal there. Highly recommended. Zoe, Halifax

I visited Nineteen in Aug 2010 to celebrate my 40th. It delivered exactly what we were looking for somewhere that served good interesting food but not too pretentious a menu; the food, atmosphere and service were spot on. It has a high end bistro feel about it. The service is just as we like it friendly and not too formal, but very professional. It is fairly small but did accommodate 9 of us on a Saturday night with out any problems. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back again. Some of the friends who dined with us, have already booked to go again.

Recommended by my friend Pamela so went Monday last week.........so good we went the following Wednesday. Great food, wonderful staff willing to talk about cookery and their mother plus such an intimate atmosphere. Couldn't praise Prashad enough. Alan Judge

To find a good Indian restaurant is rare...but to find a good one that serves excellent vegetarian food is even rarer. However, Prashad is that rare vegetarian restaurant, which goes that bit further . The food is authentic with a clever twist on things, which I / we like. My family and I are so pleased with Prashad's food that we have booked them to cater for our wedding blessing. Simply put...Prashad is awesome!

I feel so privileged having Saffron in Leyburn. I also eat curry when working in Bradford most weeks (I can only last 3/4 days without it), and I believe Saffron to be up there with the best. And Koyes and his staff are very friendly, genuine Bradford / Bangladeshi lads. (best to book on a weekend, and order your takeaways well in advance).

After weeks of trying to book a table here we finally got in! Let me tell you its was more than worth the wait!!! The dining area is beautifully decorated and the ambience superb. We were given shots of soup and "crisps" as a taster. The starters followed,they were lovely, my husband (who is a chef) ordered belly pork - WOW - it looked and he said tasted fantastic. Then came the chocolate brownie and home-made vanilla ice cream - absolutely superb! The waitresses were a credit to the management - friendly and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble! The other bit of good news is that they are now opening all day Saturdays and Sundays!! would advise everyone to book in here and go!!!

Disappointing meal after a promising start with tasty and well presented poppadums and pickles. The lamb was tough and chewy and both curries lacked flavour and overwhelmingly peppery. Service mediocre atmosphere nil poins. Shame spice cottage was closed. 0 stars

Wok 1 is the best Chinese buffet restaurant I have been to ! We drive 30 plus miles to go for our meal there as it's far superior to our local one. There is a wide choice of desserts, and the king prawns in spring onion and ginger is fantastic mouthwatering ! I like that they have poppadoms too. Recently redecorated looks a lot better inside now, but the food is just delish ! :D

I first went to toscana after several years in 2008 and noticed that Dino was back working a pleasant surprise and was happy to hear that he was now the new owner. I have been a regular visitor since,the food was good before but is out of this world now. Dino is always happy to see is regular customers new and old.

The Narrow Boat is one of the excellent small chain of pubs, Market Town Taverns. It sells an excellent range of real ales, ciders and continental lagers. The food is of limited range but usually very good. The service is very friendly.
