Solos Tandoori Restaurant – HuddersfieldWe have been to the wappy many times, the food is always very good and consistent would recommend to one and all.
Wappy Spring Inn, The – HuddersfieldOutstanding value, service and menu. Zac and Diane are a perfect team making sure our evening was as fantastic as the setting, such a charming restaurant set in one of the most stunning villages in Yorkshire. Thank-you for a wonderful night.
Zachary’s At Fulneck – Pudseythe chicken bunna is so nice and tasty
Ali Raj Tandoori – HarrogateWe had a meal here on Sunday 7th June - Terrible, the food was only average, the staff were very noisy, laughing and screaming and joking all the time we were having our meal and the service was poor. After the meal I was actually physically sick in the night, my husband felt very queasy. We would definitely not go back or recommend to anyone.
Giannis – ScarboroughSimply the best Indian meal I've had, the owner appears to cook everything himself, to ensure it meets his exacting standards, and he likes to talk to his customers whenever possible. You may have to wait a little longer for your food, but it's well worth the wait!
Jamal’s – MiddlesbroughLast week I visited the spice garden as one of my friends recommended it to me. My first thoughts was that just another average Indian restaurant, but WOW! The food was absolutely out of this world. Also the service was 5 star. The staff are very friendly and cater to your very needs. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food. P.S Try out their Special Sizzlers.
Spice Garden – PontefractWhen I picked up my student daughter at the end of term, we came here for something to eat. Thought it was great! I had a mild lamb rogan josh and she had a king prawn korma. She loved hers, but I found it a little sweet. My meal was just delicious! The portions were good, but I wasn't left feeling stuffed. I loved the setting in the park. It was lovely to look out over trees. The atmosphere was nice. The waiter who took our order was pleasant and helpful but some of the other waiting staff were grumpy. The meal cost £20. They wouldn't accept my Scottish £20 note! It is legal tender, of course. Lucky I had a card with me.
Akmals Tandoori Bistro – Leeds City CentreWe were at a public lecture organised by the Theosophical Society in Bradford on 'Vedic Astrology,' this afternoon. So we decided to come her fopr dinner: rengan bhajia, bhel supreme, idli sambar, bataka wada and nan. The weather has been glorious all day, the lecture was brilliant and the food here was simply superb. All in all, it was a wonderful combination towaards a perfeect day. Yesterday Bobby and Minal Patel were interviewed in a programme on BBC Radio 4 about the Patel clan in this country. So the fame of Bradford's little gem, the Prashad will now be known across the country. The Patel family and Prashad are a great credit to Bradford for which it is rightly proud.
Prashad – BradfordThis is a nice clean place to eat out with the family .Its got a nice atmosphere and the food is so very tasty. The prices are ok. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Rays Manzil Balti Restaurant – HullWe only tried the place because we were looking for the speed school round the corner after the Mrs had been flashed. What a stroke of luck! As soon as we walked into the large bar reception we were greeted by a friendly comedian barman who had us in giggles with his one liners. After selecting from the extensive menu whilst leisurely sipping drinks we were led to our private booth in the deceptively big and bright restaurant. The food arrived quickly without us being rushed and was delicious. The waiters were friendly, checked on us regularly and easy to gain attention. Inexpensive, the barman gave the lady a rose as well as some more quips whilst we paid. Whenever we go to Huddersfield we will be taking the Bradford Road route so we can visit the Shama again.
Shama Balti – HuddersfieldI went on 10/06/09 with my partner and it was fabulous, clean, trendy and very friendly and helpful staff. The menu was extensive and cooked fresh in front of you and tasted lovely. It was not expensive either and has vegan choices. Will be returning and recommending to my friends.
Mango Vegetarian – WetherbyBeware - Nice meal and lovely desserts, and the service was fine. However, there are signs saying cocktails, two for one on Wednesdays everywhere, including the menu. We had four and were charged for four. I queried this and the waitress said it only applied to certain drinks in the downstairs section. This isn't made clear anywhere. She knocked half off but make sure you're aware of this if you go. Apart from that, a decent place, if lacking a little atmosphere.
Trio – HeadingleyA hidden gem that not too many people know about! Akmals is fantastic food for a fantastic price. Highly recommended to everyone. Give it a try and you will be hooked!!!
Akmals Tandoori Bistro – Leeds City CentreVery opulent surroundings and the food was OK, if a little overpriced. However the service was extremely poor and we will not be visiting again.
