If you would like a night of being ripped off and laughed at then you should visit. My local kebab shop serves better and more honest meals than the pretentious, stuck up, out of a jar laxmi farce of a restaurant.

Laxmi Restaurant – HuddersfieldWe eat out all the time and rarely get a bad meal; this was quite an experience... No STOP, I mean BAD experience! The Starter was microwave to death, rock hard kebabs! The main was so sweet I thought I was eating desert! We sent all the food back without eating and the so called chef accused us of being after a freebie when we complained!!! Freebie, surely we would have eaten it if we were after a freebie? Very bad attitude and we were made to PAY I’m utterly discussed!
Laxmi Restaurant – HuddersfieldThis place takes some beating! I have been a regular there since the day it opened. The food is exceptional (as is the service) and with a price hard to beat! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Shuhag Indian Restaurant – PontefractThe vegetable crumbles are my favourite, - with varieties such as mushroom and almond; aubergine, olives and courgette; etc. The scrumptious accompanying salad makes it the most perfect meal. The soups are deliciously awesome too!
South Square Vegetarian Cafe – BradfordGreat food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Definitely be back soon!!
Gusto – HeadingleyWe found this pub by accident as there was no where around that served food on a beautiful summers evening. The pub is divided into 3 areas , a comfortable bar , larger more family orientated restaurant and a very striking decked patio area with overhead heaters. The food was marvellous and so much of it. Admittedly the choice was less being a Sunday but it was still enough to satisfy all comers. All of it was home cooked using local ingredients and was served in friendly efficient manner. I can't speak highly enough of this find
Green Dragon Inn Exelby – RichmondGreat food, great service, nice place, nice price . An absolute gem on the edge of the city centre.
BC’s – BradfordBrilliant food, Very clean pub. Good value for money. Fish & Chips were fantastic. Service was very good & Staff very friendly.
Black Bull – WakefieldKiplings was ok, nothing special, food was fine nothing really to complain about, although found the place very overpriced. Food selection appeared to be geared towards pleasing the white British curry eaters, nothing too spicy, creative Korma, that type of thing. Having spent considerable time traveling in India, I have to say Kiplings would not be somewhere I would visit again. I experienced a bizarre tex-mex type curry, heavy on the jaggery, staff extremely concerned when I asked for some fresh green chillies to be added, with two of the extremely attentive waiters, near enough saying "are you sure chillies make food very hot?" My partner opted for a vegetable dish, which was enjoyed for the crisp vegetables rather than the spice combination. Our overall experience was one of disappointment rather than terrible eating, Kiplings comes highly recommended on various websites, stating that the chef has won many awards, it's even billed as the official Olympic curry 2012??? All I can say is that the chef must have had a day off. Kashmir is still the best!!
Kiplings Restaurant – BradfordAverage but overpriced food which took a very long time to arrive. The Cat in the Well is a beautiful pub in a fantastic location, but the service was pretty poor.
Cat in the Well, The – HalifaxI do not know of any other restaurant where the chef prays to God before she starts the day’s cooking and actually offers the deity the product of her labours. So it is no wonder that Kaushy has won the South Asian Chef of the Year award for three years in succession. The results are very evident in the very imaginative menu at Prashad. The aubergine fritters and the pani puri are my favourite starters, the utthapam and the idli sambar being my favourite main courses. The proprietors and staff are very friendly and always helpful.
Prashad – BradfordHaving attended a Civil Ceremony on Friday 6th June at Moorland Lodge I can confirm the meal afterwards was, as usual, of the highest standard. The service is second to none. The tranquil atmosphere and surrounding views are very special. All round it was a wonderful occasion.
Moorland Lodge Restaurant – HuddersfieldI recently visited the Oyster Catcher Hull due to the refurbishment taking place and the change of diners. On arrival into the restaurant it looked fantastic and greatly welcoming. This was the only good of the whole restaurant. The staff are unknowledgable of the products and slow at service. We were seated by a young lady no older than 20 and was introduced to another no older than 16. it took 40 mins for our starter to come out and another 20 to be took to the carvery area. The meat was very dry and the vegetables undercooked. The prices that you pay for the food are high considering the quality of food you receive. All in all I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. Bad service and bad quality of food.
The Oyster Catcher – HullThis is the best Greek Restaurant in the county! The food is fantastic the portions are massive and the owners are wonderful!! Stop press: they are now licenced and you can buy beer and wine.
Aya Sophia Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine – Hebden BridgeGreat place to grab a quick bite or to spend the evening with some friends. Food always really good, all home cooked and freshly prepared. Service friendly and informal. Highly recommended.
Millstone, The – DoncasterI have visited Maureens West Indian and taken a few people there for something to eat. Fabulous food and customer care is good. I recommend the breakfast with Ackee and Saltfish. These people can cook I have also had their patties whether they make them there or not the fact is it all tastes really good. I like the open plan style of cooking you get to see whats going on and you also tend to order additional food as the different smells take over the diner. I strongly recommend this restaurant and would take anyone there for authentic Caribbean cuisine. The juices and the cakes are also spectacular. Well done to Maureen and her staff for this marvellous experience.
Maureens Caribbean Eat In Or Takeaway – RoundhayThis place is fantastic. Not the biggest of menus but plenty of choice and the food really is top notch. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Most definitely worth a visit.
Cucina Cafe Bar and Restaurant – MorleyHad a great meal here, we had the two course meal which was only £9.50 which was good. I had a vegetarian option, hot and sour soup followed by satay tofu which were both delicious. My husband spring rolls which he was very pleased to find had actual chicken in! and crunchy beef in chili and wine sauce. Portions were really good, didn't even have room for toffee apples! The staff were lovely and the it was very relaxing, would recommend to anyone!
