Gimbals – Sowerby BridgeThis was a fantastic experience!!! I dined with my hubby and bub, and I had a steak pie to die for with the most scrumptious shortcrust pastry on top. At last, I have found a great pub with a chef who knows his stuff!!! The wait staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating ! I am also a chef by profession and I my standard of food I choose to eat is very high!! Well done to the team at the Three Houses Inn.
The Three Houses Inn – WakefieldA fantastic choice of traditional and mainstream Indian dishes. Warm, comfortable environment with an outstanding decor to match. Superb staff provide an excellent knowledge of food and the vegetarian selection is second to none. Well worth a visit, ten out of ten.
Laxmi Restaurant – HuddersfieldA satisfactory evening. Food cold-ish but cheap. Curry took a long time to come but we did get extra poppadams when we complained. Did gve us chips too albeit a bit reluctantly!
Raies – Roundhaypoor quality and below standard hygene
Wok 1 Cantonese Restaurants – Doncasterthis place is my favourite restaurant, i go every birthday, every occasion and well every chance i get. in fact i am going Friday. the food is amazing, you are guaranteed to love it.
Saffron Desi – Morleyhello my name is Ashraf Rashid hello people food is exellent
Ali Raj Tandoori – Harrogatewent on a Friday, early evening . first time visitor and first time at a vegetarian restaurant. enjoyed the food and the surroundings. didn't know what to have so the waiter gave us some advice and was very friendly and helpful.would recommend this to anyone who enjoys Indian food. will revisit this summer and try some other dishes that we haven't had before. shame this isn't south Yorkshire.
Prashad – BradfordThe last time I visited this was in 2007 so a return visit was due. This time on a Monday evening and the pub was almost empty apart form a darts match taking place. Two TVs were on showing the football and music was playing too. I must say that the décor has improved since my last visit but alas still no real ale.
Queens Head – HullThis place is truly stunning, I was extremely happy with the service food and venue!!! This is the nicest restaurant in Harrogate without a doubt!!! You must give this place a try and it’s defiantly worth a drive over if your not local……you will not be disappointed!!!!!
Royal Baths Chinese Restaurant – HarrogateMy first time at Prashad, found the food amazing. The best vegetarian cuisine i've ever tasted. The service and atmosphere are second to none. Well worth a detour. I can't wait to go back.
Prashad – BradfordThe service was friendly but the menu was poor with not much choice, the main courses were of a good size but would've been better if the chips had been cooked and not just threatened with the hot oil! The Billet is not the food pub it once was very disappointing to say the least.
The Crooked Billet – TadcasterWent on a Tuesday night and was surprised how busy it was. Food was absolutely fantastic, really really nice. Staff were friendly and lovely restaurant. Was slightly pricey but could tell meat was not mass produced rubbish and the steaks in particular (advertised as Aberdeen Angus) were superb. If you don't care about quality of produce and price is your prime concern go elsewhere. However if quality is your overriding concern there is no better Thai in the north.
Thai Jantra – Wetherbyhave used rajput for our takeaways for many years - lovely
Rajput – Headingleyfood was prompt but quite salty and dark,i thought thai was fresh not the chinese soya sauce stuff disappointed was looking forward to fresh tasty ingredients y pal lives in roundhay/oakwood thai there and he told me thai is the best perhaps i chose wrong one p lee
Thai Sabai – HeadingleyWhile planning our stay in west Yorkshire, I did research online to find restaurants that were local, but not touristy. I found the Beautiful Restaurant and happy that I did! We were visiting the Alhambra theatre, for a show. And on the Bradford tourist guide we found the Sweet Centre Restaurant. The restaurant was clean and smelled like good home cooking. When we arrived at around 7.30pm it was fairly busy, and we were allocated a table as we booked in advance. We were welcomed very nicely. The food was great, Everything was great! We had fried Masala fish, homemade cornbread dressing like Grandma used to make back in Rajastaan India. I appreciated it very much since It bought back several good memories. Not to forget All the portions were more than generous. Those who surrender to the more audacious dishes on the Sweet Centre menu will enjoy a boldly flavoursome culinary journey. Those who stick to the classics like the Balti dishes, LAMB On the Bone to be precise…. will enjoy nothing less than an impeccably cooked and graciously served authentic Desi meal. Sweet centre, get there and you will get soul food at its best! A must try for those that have authentified taste buds.
Sweet Centre Restaurant – BradfordThe best Thai restaurant in Leeds. Do not entertain Thai Edge and similarly over-priced, over-rated places. This is simply the best, from the opulent decor to the seamless service to the amazing food and all very reasonably priced for what you get. The bigger hotel chains tend to advertise Thai Edge, do yourself a favour and seek out Chaophraya instead.
Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreThis has got to be one of the roughest pubs in the north east. The saw dust floor covering does not look out of place.Frequently full of scaffolders or similar people with low intelligence ,you know what i mean.I only hope the new landlord knows what he is doing.
