With friends we decided to give this place a go one Friday night. Whilst they do not take bookings they do pt your name on the list then tell you how long your table will be. We were on the list and told that the table will not be free until 9pm. This was 7.30 so we went for a drink in the Green Rooms over the road, when we came back it was 8.40 i told the lady that we were back and she found our name on the list then told me that we would have to wait at least another hour to be seated. NOT IMPRESSED Save your money they are total time wasters we ended up at Frankie and Benny's

Food here is absolutely fabulous. Very reasonably priced & excellent portions. Steak Pie would have even Desperate Dan struggling to finish. The guy who runs it ( I can't remember his name ) has made as good a success of the restaurant as he did when he had Warehouse 1204 in Sowerby Bridge. Keep up the good work

July 2008 - 2 visits in as many weeks - Some time ago The Bluebell was serving consistently good quality meals with excellent service. Change of staff (owners?) resulted in some forgettable meals but The Bluebell can now be recommended with confidence once again! Super location in Wentbridge, excellent atmosphere, quality and attentive service - and food to savour! A very varied menu along with a number of tasty specials, a good bar for discerning drinkers. Booking is advisable since 'the word' has clearly got round!

Hello, I really enjoyed Roberto's. The set menu has a great choice and is amazing value for money, especially in the current economic climate. I will happily go there again. It's great for family's but especially for the ladies as one of the waiters is very yummy! Great all round if you ask me! =)

If Theo's rest. opens in Cyprus most of Greek Taverns there, are going to close down cause meze they offer cannot be compared with Theo's (Range 1-10 - They can only be rated with a 5!). Discovered this place by accident and so glad I did! Their char grill selection is outstanding and the best lamb chops I have ever tasted. Helpful staff and chilled out atmosphere.

Zaaras is a really fantastic place. The menu is really extensive and especially good for vegetarians. I have eaten there over 5 times now and have never been disappointed. The service is always excellent. and the food always delicious. I can particularly recommend the Makhani's both the chicken and the vegetarian.

I loved Roberto's when it was in Dewsbury and I visited the fairly new location in Batley last night. The staff were as welcoming as ever and the food was fantastic. The set course meal was very good value for money. A really good atmosphere too. I will be dining there a lot in the future.

I visit the restaurant at least once a week. Food excellent and nothing is too much trouble if you request something not on the menu as I frequently do it is not a problem. They serve Italian wines and beer very authentic Italian food, waiters and waitresses are a delight as are the owner and his family. Highly recommend an absolute gastronomic delight.

My wife and I have just returned from The Harrogate Brasserie after a three night break. The room was fabulous, the service, perfect. A simply marvelous eating experience. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. I would recommend his hotel and restaurant to anybody. Book now and look forward to the best experience you could wish for. If possible try and book a room at the rear of the hotel. It can be a little noisy from the traffic and late night revellers.

We went last night (Monday) after reading the reviews on this site. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is clean and stylish and spacious enough (can't understand earlier comment of tables being crammed together) We plumped for the Mixed Mezes for 2 people which was excellent, the char-grilled chicken kebabs were superb and the salmon was very good also. The service was excellent and the waiter and waitress on duty very friendly, the background music was good too. Would definitely go back and would probably try it out on a weekend. One thing I had to do whilst I was there was to pay a visit to the gents to see if everything written on here is true. Well......it is. They are probably the smallest toilets I've been in in my life but also one of the cleanest and nicely decorated ones too. All in all with 2 mezes, 2 beers, 2 glasses of wine, a Turkish coffee and a cappuccino was £52 inc 10% service charge. I think for the quality of the food we had and the relaxed atmosphere, quick but not rushed service it was very reasonable indeed. Worth a try.

I travel alot & eat at restaurants the majority of the time. i love indian food. without doubt darton balti is one of the best restaurants ive been to. i especially like their long thin, spicy seekh kebabs, which are succulent & melt in your mouth. The house wine is amazing value & the curries offer a great choice. The staff are polite, courteous & extremely professional. i would highly recommend darton balti for a truly exceptional dining experience.
