We arrived for our pre-booked table at 8.30pm on Saturday 16th Aug and thought we were in trouble when only 2 other tables were occupied! Bearing in mind there are around 30 tables inside and another 15 outside to say in was quiet is an understatement. Service was fine - not great but fine, wine was reasonably priced but warm! I had to add ice. We ordered French onion soup to start - my absolute favourite soup - but not this time!!! It was thick and black with very little onions!! It actually tasted like beef gravy granules with some onions thrown in - it really was terrible and was promptly sent back. Friends ordered prawns and said they were good. For the main course I ordered salmon fish cakes, when they arrived it looked like a “chicken nugget and chips” type meal. I asked the waiter if they were fresh or frozen out of a box and he said yes from a box in the freezer - after a few bites this was also sent back, this certainly was not was I was expecting. My husbands fish was a very small portion and under cooked, the wrong steak arrived for one friend BUT the Poulet Breton hit the spot for another. All in all a complete waste of money and time and will never go back to a Café Rouge - which is why I have written this review to hopefully stop someone else wasting their cash too!!!

I'll be honest - I LOVE my meat and fish. When Baz took me to the door of this place, I read the sign above the restaurant - (Vegetarian) - and thought "oh no.." So it is with great surprise that I say the food was tasty, filling and thoroughly satisfying. But here's the kicker...the people who run this place are, quite possibly, among the friendliest on the entire planet, no joke! Will I freely go back and do without again? Of course. Do I recommend this place, even to totally partisan meat-eaters? Absolutely. Go on, give it go - you'll be shocked at the experience.

Having heard a lot about this restaurant we decided to try it out. We were very disappointed by the food and it has been a long time since I have been rushed in and out so quickly. Overall, the food was average, warm but not hot and appeared to have been pre-prepared and then microwaved.

This is a very nice restaurant and pub/bar in a smart area of Leeds. We (family members consisting of 10 diners) dined at The Wharfedale for Sunday lunch. The food is very good with large portions and good value at £12.95 for three courses. However what stops this restaurant from being great is the staff and service. FOURTY minutes to take our order despite asking the waiting staff twice. Empty glasses not taken away and a general feeling of 'can't be bothered'. I'll go back but certainly not in a rush.

Hi , my name is jay,and i have recently found this wonderful vegetarian restaurant, located in bradford. I know a lot about indian vegetarian cooking, as i come from an Indian family,and i used to be a Hindu monk , and cooked for the monks regularly. The food you will find in this amazing little place , is out of this world,and i would recommend all of you to try the award winning cuisine at least once, "you won't regret it". when i had my first meal there , i not only felt very satisfied with the taste of the food, but felt inspired and uplifted too. Due to my previous spiritual training ,i can understand the reason was that the cooks are very spiritual and devoted people,and therefore everything is very clean and attractive. Moved into Leven 2 years ago . This is my local, the food is 1st class the atmosphere great . If you want a good night out its the place to go!

I only visited once, but never again after seeing a rat run from the pub to the nearby canal. I wished I had driven past.

since the rustics was re-opened a few weeks ago the change from how things were before can not go unnoticed. before the food was poor the staff were ignorant and the place was a dump. for those who have visited since new management took over they must have been as delighted as i was to see friendly faces behind the bar and food that was not only edible but delicious and well presented. well done to new manager michael

Red Chilli is by far my favourite restaurant in Leeds and i visit every time i visit the UK! The menu is full of weird and wonderful options. And they have the normal sweet and sour and crispy beef in ok sauce which is delicious for those that don't fancy wife's lung and Pigs Maw!! The restaurant is always full through out the week and is full of Chinese people which is always a good sign. You get value for money, excellent food and an overall enjoyable evening. Wont be back in the UK now until next year but i will defo be stopping off for a trip there as i know it is consistent and the food will be as good as last time!

when i went to sunrise the food was shit all the guys were chatting me up and their was a mustache hair in ma food and illegal immigrants were serving or shall i say observing me!!! it was awful!!!!!

Old School Tea Room Used to be a school - excellent meals - excellent cakes Highly recommended

A group of us Visited Medici on saturday 9th August to celebrate my daughters birthday. Food and Service the best i have had in quite a long time, it was excellent from the moment we arrived. It was well worth travelling over the bridge for. My first visit but definitely not my last.

Wendy, Trevor and the team at the Old School Tea Rooms catered for our Wedding Reception for 25 guests in June 2008. We arrived for Cream Teas prior to the wedding before our Vintage Bus collected us for the ceremony. Wendy and I had previously agreed the menu, costing etc and everything worked like clockwork. The staff were efficient, obliging and very friendly. We used a greeting card of the Tea Room (available to buy) as the guests menu/place setting. We would certainly recommend the Tea Rooms for a lite bite, a full roast lunch or catering for functions such as ours. Thank you so much to you all. Janet & Philip Jarvis

Recently visited this pub for an evening meal. The food here is excellent, freshly bought and prepared, even do home made chips! The menu is varied and has something to suit everyone's taste. We have also been for Sunday lunch, variety of meats and again plenty of fresh vegetables. I would recommend this pub for good quality home made food that is above average at a reasonable cost.

In my opinion this is by far the worst restaurant in Wakefield, the Sunday buffet is very poor, the main course and starters for the buffet are the same as each other. Save your money

With friends we decided to give this place a go one Friday night. Whilst they do not take bookings they do pt your name on the list then tell you how long your table will be. We were on the list and told that the table will not be free until 9pm. This was 7.30 so we went for a drink in the Green Rooms over the road, when we came back it was 8.40 i told the lady that we were back and she found our name on the list then told me that we would have to wait at least another hour to be seated. NOT IMPRESSED Save your money they are total time wasters we ended up at Frankie and Benny's
