The Griffin Inn has been tastefully renovated and redecorated. It is now more restaurant than pub, but retains its bar area for the real ale drinker. Food is excellent with a printed core menu and a specials chalk board with a selection of changing starters and mains. Watch out for special event evenings, pie night on Tuesdays is well supported.

This has to be the best Indian in Leeds, just superb. The food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. You will not be disappointed. I? finding I? becoming addicted to this place! The quality of the food is exceptional whether I eat in or take away.

I went to Sukhothai last night after reading on this site that it has been selected as one of the best Thai restaurants in the UK. I am naturally cautious of such bold claims. All I can say is the Times have it spot on. This is by far one of the tastiest Thai meals I have had EVER, including meals in Thailand. The service is extremely good and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with artwork that showcases the beauty of Thailand and its culture. A wonderful restaurant. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.

It is exactly what you want from a pub which does food, it is better than most and the portions are great. The mixed grills are very good value, and the Fish and Chips for a £5 are great. Good beer, nice people who own it even though I have not really spoken to them, get your selves there.

I have been to the Meze a number of times and it just gets better and better. We have been for Mothers Day lunch, New Years Eve. Which are two of the busy nights of the year and the service was great and the food even better. Myself and my wife go when we can and for the people who complain about the prices, ARE YOU JOKING!! it is the same as pub grub, but far far better. I was in Cario recently and the guy I was with went on about the place we were going to eat and he sat back waiting for my to be impressed, it was good, but not as good as Meze in Brighouse. i recently took my whole family there for my Fathers Birthday and the guys were brilliant, they even put on a bit of music at the end of that night and we did not leave until about 2am, thanks Ali. friendly pub, both locals and staff atmosphere was warming

We visit here very often as it has good Indian food, very friendly staff and quick service, what more could you want? On top of this the restaurant is open very late and they operate a BYOB policy without corkage charge which makes it even more affordable.

We came across this restaurant about a year and a half ago due to passing in and on the way home from work so we decided to book it and try it out and it was the such a great decision to make. We have since been there on a number of occasions and have celebrated valentines day and birthdays. The food is always outstanding and the welcome you receive makes you feel at home. We can honestly say that we have never been disappointed.

The best thing I have ever eaten in my life was a beautiful king prawns in garlic sauce. I recommend it everyone who likes sea fruit! And the wine was excellent, it was Masottina. I always drink this one.

Took advantage of the Sunday / early bird deal thing, Mushrooms for Starter for both of us - Steak & Burger as the main course choices, very nice - good value for money - pretty waitress always a plus - Kids meals were nice and great value..

We went to the saffron desi at york and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and surroundings. The staff were very polite and courteous and the food was outstanding. Definately would recommend to anyone wanting a pleasant evening and wonderful food and service.

the duke of york is a warm and friendly village pub .recently decorated to a high standard.home cooking is a major feature,with the home made steak pie a must whenever you visit .warm and friendly staff welcome you .a variety of beers ,lagers.ciders,and choice of wine makes this one of the best food pubs in hull.fr

This is a brilliant place to eat which we just keep going back to. The price is extremely good value for such accurately cooked and clean tasting food. Consistency is maintained well across all the courses, with a well chosen and good value wine list to match. Service is always good but not over fussy and for family celebrations they always go the extra mile. It makes neighbouring Swinton park look very silly. The Bib gourmand was well awarded.

I'm a regular now at Jino's in Guiseley. I'm there most weekends with my partner and I must say I can't get enough of the place! The food is fantastic. The ingredients (especially the vegetables) taste so fresh and I'm told by the owner, no MSG (flavour enhancer)is used in the cooking which sounds like a much healthier option. The service is attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere & decor is aimed at casual informal dining which is right up my street. I would recommend reserving a table at the weekend though as it gets quite busy.

We called in for something to eat after taking a long walk around Bolster Moor. Were amazed by the views but were slightly disappointed by the long waiting time for food and when it arrived it was rather bland. However there was a good selection of drinks and the barman was very apologetic and friendly. Would definitely go back for drinks.
