We went here one Sunday in January and it was very quiet ( as are a lot of places I suppose). The food was really nice , we could not fault it at all, in fact some of the nicest food we have ever had ( we do eat out a lot ) . The place was spotlessly clean and the service faultless. Its a shame that we were the only ones there as this did not make for a good atmosphere. However we will be going there again without a doubt . Nice wine, nice food, nice staff. Go there , you will not be disappointed.

A learning experience! There are things on the menu here that I've never even seen in Chinatown in London, Liverpool or Manchester. Take a risk and order something you don't know - everything I've had here has been fascinating, superbly cooked and presented and usually an exciting taste experience. Friendly staff and comfortable if rather old-fashioned surroundings make this a fine place to explore Chinese food. It's going to take a lot of visits to work my way through everything that looks fascinating!

having visited several times the food is good the cost is very reasonable although on two occasions the food order was wrong (very speedily rectified) i am still a repeat customer i think this is worth a visit very much so

Eccentric menu with a few innovative dishes on it, good cooking (the mix tikka starter is a must, they've got a real way with grilled meat!) and a warm welcome. I've had a few very good curries here on the way home from work - what more can you want than a warm welcome and a well-judged cheap curry?

Back-to-basics curry house with a cheerful, studenty atmosphere, huge portions of balti-style curries, and as they say some quite gigantic naans. Not particularly sophisticated and their dishes tend to the mild/sweet end of the spectrum but they're very good at what they do. Beware the spiral staircase to the toilets if you've been indulging in a few pints before your visit.

Quality stuff. Some of the best service in Bradford and a "create your own Balti" option if none of the dishes on the main menu take your fancy. Really clear, strong flavours, quality ingredients and imaginative spicing in all the dishes. One of the best of the upmarket Indian restaurants in Bradford, and probably the best in the city centre.

Long may the Kash reign. It's not the most sophisticated food, service or ambience in the world but by 'eck they're fantastic at what they do. Somehow after a plate of their seekh kebabs, a Kashmir mix special, a few of the best chapatis in the world and half a jug of lassi the troubles of the world evaporate completely. It's been pretty much the same in the 20 years I've been visiting Bradford, and I hope it remains fundamentally unchanged for the next 20. There's always a place for utterly honest, unpretentious food served in huge quantities at bargain prices.

Fantastic - time and time again. We've worked our way through much of the menu now and have always been impressed. We have our firm favourites now and look forward to our weekly visit. This is THE Indian restaurant in Holmfirth.

Everytime I have visited Cucina I have a lovely time. I have eaten here on several occasions and the food has been excellent every time. I think this is a lively, modern, friendly place with a great terrace for the summer with seats and music outside. Highly recommend it!

The Menu is a mix of all sorts. Really healthy food as most of the main courses are stir-fried. I have eaten Norman's a few times and tried out the most of their dishes. My favourite is Pad Thai (like the ones I have had in Thailand) and the Salmon is very light and fresh. There is no pretence here at all with the staff so laid back but still attentive. I like the that aloofness. Above all it is a bargain £5 for all main courses all day Monday and between 12-3pm Tuesdays to Friday. It caters for all sorts. They have burgers and Sunday breakfast on the menu as well, though not tried it yet. Will let you know when I have. I highly recommend Norman's for a place to eat.

I've been there on New Year's Eve with my family and everything from entertainment to food was perfect. My wife loved the ambience and the food too, so we're going to spend our Valentine Day there, with some extra set menu. They always have a nice programme for every holiday. The owner often jokes with us and we always enjoy eating there. I've visited other Indian restaurants in Bradford, but this one's the best, although it's not so well-known....

The star to me was a gastro delight the best little hide-away thatched pub in North Yorkshire. Andrew Pern is a master in his field, well worth a visit. We were lucky enough to stay in the beautiful converted barn across the road. A true Michelin star experience, Fantastic !
