Thai cafe beats all the more expensive Thai restaurants in the city centre by a long shot, and is the closest thing to authentic Thai food that I've come across in the UK. Definitely my favourite place to eat in Leeds.

you lucky people in Yorkshire. in the midlands we have to suffer fish and chips cooked in vegetable oil, not in beef dripping like mother used to make. The service presentation taste in fact the whole experience was memorable. We now have family living near Wetherby so we will now be regulars and we are spreading the word. I have been going to the Samad Cottage since 1988 The food has always been authentic Indian cuisine the cooking smells as you walk up the road will lead you to a superb restaurant which I'm sure you will go back to, as I have time and time again.

It was my first visit to this restaurant and it was a very pleasant experience. The food was great as was the service. They don't have a drinks licence so they encourage you to pop over to the co-op and then they open your drinks and save them in the fridge for you during your meal, a nice touch and a cheaper way than paying inflated restaurant drinks bills.

Fantastic all round. Went on a Saturday. Bit noisy from downstairs bar but to be expected on a Saturday night! Food Fantastic!

I have eaten at ate o'clock now on several occasions, either as a couple or once with quite a large party and on every occasion the food has been superb. The prices for lunch and their early evening menu are incredibly low for the quality of food served, Having lived in London for 30 years it really makes a refreshing change. Service is very good and the head chef spends time talking to customers, without being in your face like some restaurants. Finally the wine list, while not too extensive is of good quality and very fairly priced. One of the best restaurants in York

I always enjoy eating at Akhbars, the quality is always excellent and it is always very busy. It does tend to get very noisy though. As I was with some asian friends the waiter did give us the option of having it asian style, beware it involves lots of green chillies!

I? sorry but I think the service is very good the staff are very nice and will attend to your needs and get to you as soon as possible as they are low on staff and Saturdays are very busy nights but the owner is employing staff all the time

We have just returned from The Box Tree after our first meal there, which was the fixed price Sunday Lunch. The meal was flawless and the wine, although probably more expensive than we would normally have chosen, was worth every penny. The bill came to what you would expect to pay in any good restaurant, but "good" just does not describe our experience.

The staff were very friendly and the landlord was welcoming. My friend had travelled from Lincoln and loved the food and hospitality. We feel a bed and breakfast facilities would be superb.

The habit was a pleasant surprise. I often walk down this street but completely miss it. It seems quite small at first but has extra seating upstairs and a beautiful outside terrace area where you get a good view of the minister. I enjoyed an evening meal with my partner here for our anniversary. It had lovely lighting, unusual decorations and a comfy sofa to relax on. I often go there now I know about it, for a coffee during my shopping trips.

Me and my wife visited the new branch in Shipley last Friday, we were surprised to see how busy it was, as we came into the restaurant our eyes were blown away, there is nothing like it. The place itself is huge and we managed to get a table. The restaurant is very stunning, the restaurant has a modern contemporary look, with magnificent colour changing light, comfortable mix of two coloured leather seat red and white and the canvases in the restaurant are astonishing. A waiter showed us around the place and it is just beautiful. It has a private function area for parties, birthdays, anniversaries, wedding...... Then we came to the table and were ready for our meal. The meal was great, i have never tasted the food like it before. The service and the food both fall in one with the beautiful restaurant. THE RESTAURANT HAS A "WOW" FACTOR. I would highly recommend the restaurant. IT IS PROBABLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT IN THE WHOLE OF YORKSHIRE.

Went to a VIP party at Boutique at the weekend - this place rocks! Amazing cocktails, really good food, and fabulous music. The atmosphere was electric. I'll definitely be going back!

The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable and the wine list was excellent. I'd recommend this place to anyone. 10 out of 10.

I have eaten with my family here for years, and the food is good all round, but especially wonderful on Sundays when they have the roast! MMMMMM!!! I recommend that everyone should try it! It is a little bit of luxury in a beautiful picturesque village. I always feel at home here.
