My wife and I went for a meal at the Bay Horse following positive reviews on another website, and were not disappointed. We both had the "Dans" steak and ale pie, and were not disappointed on the quality or quantity of the food. Good home cooking, none of the mass produced pub chain food. Fresh, well cooked veg and a meaty pie, all for a very reasonable price.

This is a no s*!t eating experience, just great, simple food that I've been eating since it opened, eight years? and happy to recommend to anyone. Its good value, fresh ingredients, utilitarian approach beats the competition into a wok. I always leave feeling healthy and satiated. Unlike other noodle bars the menu is small and unfussy and the service is very friendly and they are happy to cater for kids. My daughter has been eating there since she was in the womb.

as a student you can not beat the prices at the emmott arms. However wine and spirits are tad pricey the lager is unbeatable on price! The staff are extremely helpful and always cheer the place. They do seem to run it as the managers are never seen. All in all a flippin' ace pub for us students and the locals are some of the funniest people you will ever meet!

Shimla spice is by far and away the best curry house in Keighley and maybe in Yorkshire. The staff are very friendly and its really well decorated. There chicken tikka massala is legendary round these parts

This place is within walking distance from where I live. We normally go on a Friday if we go and it is best if you book because it is very popular and gets very busy. Their service is second to none and the food is even better!!

Newsholme Manor is a small, family run restaurant in the heart of Bronte country. A cosy, warm setting surrounded by beautiful setting provides an excellent dining service. Friendly staff and customers make the whole experience thoroughly worthwhile.

As a family we have visited this restaurant many times. The quality of the food is superb, and the presentation is of an equal standard. I wouldn't call it a cafe as such; as this conjures up an idea of greasy spoon. The decor is traditional with a maritime theme. There is another quite famous cafe restaurant a little down the street where the queues are infamous. i have also eaten there. I would advise that the staff on the occasions I have visited have been rude and unhelpful, the food is average and the queues are unreasonable and, in my opinion, unwarranted. Visit the Quarterdeck on your next visit to Whitby and I am sure you will enjoy the food and the views out to sea.
