do not order the lamb kebab as you will be very disappointed as it is beef instead just marinated in not so very good mint sauce

Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooWent to this restaurant last Saturday on two friends recommendation. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and lovely food. Excellent specials board with unusual options that all sounded great - and they all were! Can't wait for our next visit. Prices comparable to any other restaurant in city centre. Also had to buy from the deli - everything yummy!
Delifonseca – Liverpool City CentreWhilst attending an exhibition in Liverpool myself and a colleague visited Puska following a recommendation. The food was outstanding, beautifully thought out, cooked and prepared to perfection (My chicken liver and date starter was an outstanding piece of cooking, and my duck and marinated fig main was gamey and delicious). The food was only surpassed by the fantastic welcome that we received from the restaurant team and their friends that were dining on the table next to us. I haven't stopped recommending it to other people at the exhibition. Thanks Guy's, an absolutely great night out.
Puschka – Liverpool City CentreMyself and a friend decided to try out the Early Bird Menu (2 courses for £7.95) at the new revamped New York Cafe Bar last night. Although our voucher said 7.30pm, when we arrived the waitress told us the menus said 7.00pm. She checked with the Manager and we were ok to choose from the Early Bird Menu. For starters I chose the Chicken & Noodle Soup, my pal chose the Duck and Pancakes. When the food came I was surprised at the size of the portions, as they were pretty big for the price. Food tasted delicious and you weren't being rushed, so we had plenty of time to savour our meals. For our mains, I chose Southern fried chicken strips, which came with potato wedges, rocket with a lovely sweet dressing on and proper coleslaw. My mate chose Spaghetti and meatballs, which would have fed the 2 of us! - again, food was freshly prepared and very tasty. An added bonus was that we were sitting in one of the newly fitted booths, which are fitted with their own TV's - the Belarus v England game was on, so it was great sitting in comfort, watching the footy! The waitress who served us was very good at her job, checking that our food was ok and not rushing us out. If you are a smoker there is good undercover area out front. The toilets were clean, although they had run out of handtowels! I will certainly be visiting again and would highly recommend a visit!
New York Cafe Bar – Mossley Hillhi everyone, i had an evening out at the zeera with my beautiful wife for our anniversary last week. the staff really made my evening special my providing us with lovely indian romantic music and a glass of wine on the house. the food was brilliant, although the madras was a bit too hot for me! i would recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants a soothing and atmospheric night out. brilliant, thank you zeera!
Zeera Tandoori – Heswallno complaints food was FAB staff were BRILL me and my husband went for our 30th anniversary. going back on Friday for my husbanda 50th birthday can't wait. best italian ever
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooI have been going to Edward's for years, barring a few months last year when it had a dip in quality of service and food. Went back recently, new staff, totally back on form, excellent food and prices - the salt and pepper chicken wings, and the singapore noodles beat any that I have tried anywhere. I shall be a regular again!
Edwards – WaterlooAny one who knows even a modicum about food will be aware that Crosby is a gastronomic backwater, the standards required of even the most basic restaurants are sadly lacking in this area. The one bright light can be found on the corner of endbutt lane; the Pioneer Bar and Brasserie in its first year has tried to lift the desperation felt by many locals when choosing to dine out in crosby. Its a bright modern restaurant that serves ,by far, the best food in the crosby, waterloo area, although not a great restaurant, its head and shoulders above the rest, and is improving all the time. Its reasonably priced with a good wine list, this includes the house wines. The staff are helpful and keen, but lack knowledge of the food they serve...........Its worth a visit ,the best food in the area
Have been going to this restaurant for years, simply the best, all friends and relatives, who don't live near travel just to go to the restaurant, obviously we have to join them every time!! Staff, food and price can't be beaten. GIVE IT A TRY. You'll love it!
Light Of Bengal – Aigburthmy husband and i recently ate twice at left bank and were truly impressed. one of the occasions was a Tuesday night so we took advantage of 2 courses for £6.95 and have to say it was amazing. i had Greek salad to start which was delicious. I then opted for fillet steak which had a £5.95 supplement but it was worth every penny and it was the best steak I've ever had.it was cooked to perfection. the restaurant was really busy (every table was full) but that didn't affect the good service and the atmosphere was great too, not what you'd expect on a Tuesday evening. we'll definitely be back soon!
Left Bank – Formbywhat can i say just a wonderful place to treat the friends and family, staff are great, the menu is excellent and the food, outstanding. zeera tandoori is one of the best Indian restaurant in wirral
Zeera Tandoori – HeswallMy husband and I decided to try this restaurant as we knew the view was supposed to be fabulous. In this respect it did not disappoint and the restaurant certainly had the wow factor. We went early evening to watch the sunset and the lights come on across the city. We enjoyed a drink in the bar first although had to ask to be served after a long wait even though a lady had shown us to a seat. The food was very good in the main with a few misses. I found it difficult to eat my main which was in a large dish with a knife and fork. My side order of butter beans had the consistency of bullets, however my husband's mashed potato was lovely. The house wines were very good, well kept and served correctly. The chocolate mousse dessert was bizarre in that it had no sweetness whatsoever and was unpleasant. The manager had the decency to come over and was very helpful and receptive to our hopefully constructive criticism. There was no issue in removing the mentioned 2 items from the bill. It was an expensive meal but it felt special in terms of a dining experience. One small gripe - we had to ask for tap water as the bottled stuff was being pressed upon us.

Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City CentreWent to Esteban for anniversary meal with hubby. Although the food was excellent as always and the service was good the restaurant was just so noisy (8-9pm on a Saturday night). If you're looking for great food and service by all means visit Esteban, but I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic meal for two if you're looking for somewhere to eat at the weekend.
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthWent for a birthday treat for my wife and was extremely impressed. The food and service was excellent. The restaurant was understandably and deservably well patronised Will certainly visit again in the near future.
Good food, dreadful service. Jacob, nice guy , the manager has problems with listening. Don't bother to order drinks, you will be ignored Food is great. when or if it arrives.
Kerala Kitchen – BirkenheadBest Indian food on Merseyside. But. Worst service. You will be ignored!!!!
Kerala Kitchen – BirkenheadJust back from the Panoramic after a celebratory meal. Felt I had to give a fair an honest account of this newcomer to the Merseyside food scene. Of course the views and aesthetics of this 34th floor restaurant are unchallenged in the city, however the overly attentive and sometimes arrogant staff do nothing to disguise the surprising blandness of the food we dined on. The overly sized sizes cool plates (temperature not design) couldn't hide the fact that two of the three steaks we ordered came as Blue rather than medium. However the scallops for starters were cooked to perfection, but on cold plates doesn't do them justice. Of course overall a great evening, and you cannot not admire the awesome views across the Mersey towards the Wirral and inwards towards the city. A little more attention is required on the basics, and combination of flavours to justify the prices they charge. Hard and fast locals such as the SideDoor wipe the floor in terms of taste and passion, for a fraction of the price, and the Panoramic isn't a patch on the Carriage Works for overall dining indulgence. Fully recommend this Beetham tower novice to the scene, but for passionate fooders, don't have to high an expectation, as you will be disappointed. ratings : atmosphere : 10/10 service : 7/10 food : 6/10 value for money : 5/10 overall : 7/10 : A must go to restaurant with great views of the city, but the 3 month waiting list does not justify the quality or taste of food. Must try Heathcotes, CarriageWorks and SideDoor for better dining.
