Great food ...... highly recommended
Spire – WavertreeGreat food, great place, just disappointed with the service. If the staff could improve on there waiting skills then great. I have eaten there on many Occasions but the last 2 Occasions the service has not been so good. Eg, bottle of wine plonked on the table with 2 shabby glasses, aren? you supposed to let the consumer taste the wine first ?
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthSince the restaurant opened we never went anywhere else to eat. I fully recommend Mei Mei, it is cheaper than other dim sum place. Nice and clean, didn't have to wait too long for a table.
Mei Mei – Liverpool City CentreHave been to loads of Indians, and have to say that this is the best I've been to in Liverpool. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the ambience of the place added to a great evening and dining experience. Also most importantly for us, it was not smoky.
Red Fort – AigburthLovely for a special occasion, great place for people watching. The food was good, very small portions, I had the surf and turf, nicely cooked. at 11pm the staff throw rose petals onto the bar below, Saturday night was packed, we had to wait for our table, but once seated, it was very relaxing. Only bad point, my seat was too low for the table.
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreI'd recommend the Siam Garden to anyone who likes Thai food or a bit bored with Chinese. Visited the place a few years ago and have been a regular since. I especially like the spare ribs, tom yam gai and chicken pad ped. Fresh ingredients and expertly flavoured. A great alternative to Chinese. Service is good, atmosphere warm and moorish food. What more do you want? You might not become as big a fan as me but your sure to enjoy a visit. Book ahead! You wont be the only one!
Siam Garden – WavertreeI recently visited this restaurant on the basis of the reviews on this website. This is the best tapas I have been too since discovering tapas food several years ago. I would rate this place over La Tasca and La Vina as the quality of the food is excellent and the service. Make sure you try the Potatas bravas. The cost of the meal was very reasonable and would not hesitate in recommending this place to anyone.
Tapas Tapas – WaterlooEsteban is AMAZING. I've only been in Liverpool for 4 months, and so far I think I've been here about 5-6 times! I brought my parents, sister, and friend from the States here and they all loved it as well. You gotta try the sangria, it is wonderful. If you are looking for a meal that you and your party won't be disappointed with, Esteban is the place!
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthI have visited the Charcoal Grill many times and have never come away disappointed. The food is extremely tasty and plentiful. I doubt you will come away hungry. The bar area is very pleasant and you are made very welcome by all the staff.
The Charcoal Grill – St.HelensThis has got to be the restaurant offering the best value for money in the nothwest and beyond
Colours Restaurant – St.HelensI LOVE THIS PLACE WE ALWAYS FEEL VERY WELCOME THEY NEVER FORGET A FACE I HAVE BEEN GOING HERE FOR OVER 7YRS AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY COMPLAINTS FOOD ALWAYS FANTASTIC & PEOPLE FRIENDLY NOW NO SMOKING BETTER 3 COURSE NOW 10.95 BUT STILL WORTH EVERY PENNY.XX
Ruis – BootleExcellent food and very attentive service. The seafood was especially fine, not least the delectable risotto, and the chicken was delicious. The vegetarians in the party were also more than satisfied. Be aware, though, that parties of over six people will be subjected to a severely diminished menu as a matter of company policy.
Piccolino – Liverpool City CentreA large improvement since I last visited, food was great, staff polite I just felt the atmosphere has gone down a lot, needs that extra something to bring back the atmosphere.
Bakers Dozen – BootleGood food with good service. Watch out for the "early doors" the menu is quite basic, but with extra for this and extra for that. Pushing the wine to a more expensive one can end up with an "cheap" early doors costing £50 pounds per couple. Stick to the basic menu to get reasonable value for money.
107 Dining Room – HeswallSuperb entertainment on first visit, but it no longer holds the same appeal third time round! This restaurant has to be enjoyed whilst in a big group rather than as a couple due to the nature of the seating. The food is out of this world though, even if it is on the pricey side (I think the price covers the cost of the entertainment). Definitely an experience you have to try.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreExcellent place to eat, apart from the price!!!
Zeera Tandoori – HeswallPlenty to choose from on menu although I opted for the 3 course banquet for people arriving before 9pm for £8.50 and duck & pancakes for an extra £2. Large portions and by the time the main meal arrived I was stuffed however they do let you take away any meals. Overall, an enjoyable meal at a reasonable price.
China City – Liverpool City CentreThis restaurant is excellent and well worth a trip. The food and service are as good as you will find in some of Liverpool's more notable restaurants but save yourself the taxi fare and give this place a go. Very cheap as well for the quality of the food.
