The best authentic Indian restaurant in Liverpool. if anyone looking for an authentic food experience must try maharaja. It was a new experience for me and my friends. Definitely recommend maharaja.

The food is so lovely at this restaurant. There is so much choice and everything I have tried is delicious. I have been on several occasions and the last time I had spicy sausage which was very tasty followed by a lamb dish. The price is very reasonable and place itself is basic but authentic. The Turkish coffee is fab too!

A relaxed & comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, attentive and helpful willing to advise on types of dishes or arrange something specific for you with the Chef. Food is always excellent and reasonably priced. It all goes to makes an enjoyable evening! (Their takeaways are of the same high standard if you don't have time to eat in)

Nicolas is a fantastic restaurant that makes you feel right at home. If I don't go here at least once a month I start getting withdrawal symptoms! 10 out of 10 all round.

I went on Saturday evening and had a delicious selection of tapas. The staff were extremely quick to take my order but I didn't feel rushed and simply asked for more time. The food was excellent and the service was great. Seeing the owner gave the whole feel a more loving approach. There are too few restaurants like this in St Helens and I'm glad we finally have a few more choices than fish and chips.

I recently visited the chung ku takeaway restaurant opposite the fiveways pub. i was greatly satisfied by the service and attention to detail that they seem to have there and would recommend this takeaway restaurant to anyone The Chung Ku Is Extraordinary. The Sui Mai's are outstanding and they taste so yummy. I Love The Way The Prawn Crackers Crackle and Crisp in Your Mouth. They Are Out Of This World. We Would Really Recommend This To Everyone Of All Ages.

This Chip Shop Is Utterly Faaaaaaabulous! We Love it. The Sui Mai's R Outstanding. If Your Looking For A Good Quality Dish.. Come to Wongs!! He Is An Excellent Waiter And Chef. CHUNG KU ROCKS!!

Now that is what I call authentic Chinese n English dishes. What an absolute bargain. Great food low cut prices. Best take away in the whole of Liverpool maybe even England. Prove me wrong.

it was a fabulous wedding reception venue for my daughter and new son in law, it was chilled but special, the entertainment was really enjoyed by young and old alike.

We had our Wedding reception here is july 2006, the food was fantastic. the service was second to none. and the atmosphere was brilliant. we hired the whole room for the afternoon and with over 100 guests, they made everyone feel so special. Finally the cost was very resonable.

Having visited Bistro Pierre in Button Street on a number of occasions it was only a matter of time before I ate at the sister restaurant. Parking was so so easy, parking bays outside of the restaurant - unheard of in Liverpool these days. The decor was fresh, dark reds, cream and oak table & chairs. It was only mid afternoon so we managed to get a window seat. The service was just as good as Bistro Pierre, one or two new faces on the payroll but the staff who remembered us made a fuss. As always the food is great and priced fairly in today? competitive market. Its ideally placed for the Philharmonic and Students who are based in that area of town have a night of their own (Tuesdays I think). I loved Bistro Pierre but I suspect some regulars (those that are more mobile than others & wouldn? quibble at getting to the top of Hardman street) may change their allegiance. Keep up the good work Mark & Steven and my wife and I will be long term customers.

Fantastic restaurant. could not complain about the food at all. if i was to complain about something it would be there is to much choice. portions are huge, i wouldn't bother with starter. i recommend if you are going in the evening to book as it is a small restaurant and will i was there it could of been filled 3 times over. when ordering do this by number as staff speak little English and there is so much to choice from it makes it a lot easier this way. hope you enjoy it as much as i did
