On mon our party of 11 were booked in for our graduation meal. when we arrived we went straight to the bar for cocktails and aperitifs, the "graduates" were offered a cocktail each and the service was friendly and chatty, then we were taken up in the restaurant for our meal. the set menu was lovely, it had something for everyone, the only flaw i can think of was that the meals didn't come with many vegetables so we had to get a few side dishes but they were hardly touched as the meal was very filling! at the end of the meal staff bought a graduation cake over to the table too! this bar/restaurant is amazing, it is somewhere to bring your mates, parents and grandparents, everyone will be blown away by its beauty!

Straight to the table no waiting Very, very friendly. The banter between the owner and waitress amazingly entertaining. The food was excellent and the portions were massive. Excellent range on menu in pizzeria and also restaurant upstairs. I've tried both. Cannot fault it. Starter ribs are to die for. Home made Paté best I've ever, ever tasted. Totally recommended. Definitely going back.

Everyone i mention this place to looks at me and thinks oh no!!! but me and my girlfriend went there for a romantic meal and it was really lovely, wine was good, food was good, everything was good!! It is quite open planned (no booths) and it is on a corner where EVERYONE looks in at you eating but hey you can see that when you walk in! Its a very nice place I will go there again!! Just thought i would boost this restaurants ratings since it totally deserves it!!

I think Esteban is very pleasant place to eat. I like to go there with my friends a lot, we enjoyed Esteban very much. All the staff is very helpful and approachable, especially all the foreign girls. I can? forget to mention quality of food which is always just lovely!!!!! I have no bad things to say about Esteban. Just keep it like it is!!! Regards to the Spanish management as well.

The Parisian jewel of Liverpool. This place has it all. Ambience that rivals the quaintest west London bistros and a superb reasonably priced menu. It can be addictive! The menu changes frequently with a 5.95 3 course lunch rapide, to a Wednesday night special offer with free bottle of wine, which can often lead to a hangover

Lovely home made cakes, sandwiches and light meals. The star turn for me is the scone with clotted cream, jam and butter with a pot of tea for £1.50 - superb. Only drawback is that it can get rather stuffy and cramped inside.

Can? wait to visit the Tai Pan again. The service and the food is the best money can buy.

Went to Nicola's for a meal with all the family after my graduation...age range 7-65 and there was something for everybody. Very child friendly - there is a children? menu and kids are able to make their own pizza! All of the food was lovely, will especially recommend the kebabs. Service was quick and the waiters were more then willing to help but with a laid back atmosphere so they were not in your face. Would definitely recommend this place we all had a great time - a fantastic end to my time in Liverpool!

after a slow start with ordering and getting drinks, our starters of scallops and a fresh crab risotto were delicious and piping hot. the main course of lamb with dauphinoise potato was also very good although the portion of potato was a bit on the small side for the quantity of lamb. the side order of vegetables were nicely cooked and piping hot. the selection of desserts on the fixed price menu was a little limited, we would of liked to see some seasonal fruit selection but settled for baked egg custard and cookies with cream. on the whole a very enjoyable evening and we will be returning to try the Sunday brunch menu.

The food was amazing and the service equally as good. Would recommend anyone to go.

Food here has improved immensely since the earlier days. Defo value for money and worth a try.

Went to La Tasca on 25/07/2006, got a table straight away as a hot night and everyone was sitting outside, but wasn? to hot inside so was comfortable, and was served straight away with drinks, and was left a short while to chose from the menu, the waitress who served us was a bit stroppy but hey the food definitely made up for it "just delicious" celebrated my 36 birthday with 3 friends and they all said the same most enjoyable evening, lovely food well priced you don? have to break the bank lovely clean restaurant comfortable defo going back SOON

Having discovered Othello's about a year age, and enjoyed a number of meals there, I chose it as the place I wanted to go with friends and family for my 50th birthday meal. Given that there were 20 in our party (along with other diners in the restaurant, including another sizeable party), the service was outstanding. The starters for all of us arrived together, as did the main course. Everything was beautifully cooked, and both friends and family who had not been there before were very impressed with the quality of the food. The choice of Greek dishes is impressive to sat the least, and makes choosing very difficult. Price, given what you get, is extremely reasonable. Many thanks to Maria and the staff for making my 50th such a memorable evening. We will be back soon.

Tried many of the Indian restaurants in Liverpool and this one is by far the best! I have never been disappointed in any way, even when I have been worse for the wear! Great service and great food, a class act!!

A very pleasant little place with friendly staff if somewhat forgetful... we asked a waiter to bring us some ice for our drinks, with that he took our drinks away with him and we never saw him again! The food was rather good but the price was UNBEATABLE! all in all cheap... but NOT nasty!
