Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! 10/10 would recommend!

Visited here on valentine's evening. We've visited a few times before so we already knew that the food and service would be great and it absolutely was. The staff are really attentive and couldn't be more welcoming. The only negative I have is that the offer was for a starter and main but there was only one vegetarian starter available which meant we both had to have the same, I'd like to see some more veggie starters available for next time. It was quite sad to see the place so empty as it's usually very busy with a great atmosphere, we put this down to it being a week night and think people may have opted to ordering food for delivery rather than dining in. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back soon!

Went on Valentine ‘s night with my wife , disappointed it didn’t have a set menu for the occasion, instead we were shown the normal dinner menu. I did look before booking and it mentioned a valentine set menu on my google search , I did enjoy the meal on the night , which was nice with a bottle of house wine. I think in future the establishment should accommodate for couples on a Tuesday night which otherwise would have been quiet if it wasn’t for Valentine’s Night.

Went for Valentine’s Day and had the set menu. A lovely welcome with a rose on arrival and the food was amazing as usual. The live music was really good too. A lovely night. Thank you.

Fantastic lunch! We’d never been before but will certainly be returning, the staff were friendly and bubbly and the service was excellent. Excellent food… the best risotto I have ever had! Perfect

Second time we have been here, New Years Eve and Valentine’s Day, both very good. I’ve recommended it to friends already. Good prices and good food, service was good as well, we we’re served by the same young lady on both nights and she was very efficient and polite.

My third visit and my worse, starter fine ,main course just not worth the extra money, you can get the same ribs and French frys at many other places but at a third of the price . There was nothing special about the meal at all , standard BBQ ribs and chips , won't be returning , once bitten !!!0

We booked for Valentine’s Day 2023 for the pre theatre menu, I was a little worried we would be rushed due to it being Vday but I didn’t have to worry. The service was impeccable and we had plenty of time to really enjoy our meal. The food, wow, so delicious and the pre theatre menu is definitely great value for money. Great portions and great choice. We will definitely be back again, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. The staff are wonderful, really attentive and have great personalities. 10/10.

Booked for a Valentine's meal. We were gifted a long stem red rose as we were seated. The staff at the Rising Moon are amazing !!! Friendly & super helpful. The food is awesome - every mouthful delicious !!! You really don't want the meal to end !!! There was a guy playing back ground music on the guitar - created a lovely atmosphere Perfect ❤️

Always amazing

Had a lovely meal for both my daughter's birthday and valentine's. We had lasagne, pizza and salmon. All very enjoyable. The menu we were given was restricted compared to what we had looked at online. Disappointed to then see other diners with a more extensive menu later when we were told that the menu we had was the only one available.

Everything was at a good level. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and night.

It’s rare that you find somewhere that not only has stunning food but the loveliest staff and great interior! It was obvious they were busy but they handled it like pros and the food was so nice. I can’t wait to come back and if I could give you more than 5 stars I honestly would!
