Food was excellent and waiters very friendly and helpful. Only problem we felt a little rushed constantly being asked if ready for nex course and table was cleared whilst at the toilet

Indian Plaza Restaurant, Bar and Takeaway – AudenshawI have just discovered the delights of sherringtons in Atherton, having just moved to the area in the last year or so,. I called in for a coffee to shelter from the rain . Looking a the food on on offer i decided to have some lunch, Panini was delicous and freshly prepared , victoria sponge with cream , a large portion and equally as delicious. Followed by a latte with a hint of mint again lovely. The place is very clean and the service fantastic . My partner and i are now regular visitors and what a delight this little place is i would highly recommend it you wont be disappointed.
Sherringtons Coffee House – WiganWent here for a drink and a little bite to eat the other day, food was nice, had a variety of empanadas mm v tasty and freshly cooked. It has a nice warm atmosphere. Though I think it confused a lot of people passing by as from the outside it feels and seems like a restaurant, but only has a small menu of tapas options (obviously styled in the south amerian/spanish vibe) it feels v comfortable but I think it will be confusing to a lot of parsers by and a lot of British dinners not tuned into the concept of going for a drink and having a nibble at the bar when you feel like it, instead of going for a massive pub meal. I think it has a good future and with Chirango gone it could do well, if they had latin music nights with djs etc and maybe added a little more smaller options to the menu. And got the vibe right between Bar and restaurant maybe a few more sofas would make it less feel less like a restaurant Like pie, and the tapas place on Beech Rd .
De Nada – ChorltonNever intend to visit again !!!The building is amazing very warm and welcoming with coal fires and a homely feel. I have frequented this public house on and off for the last few years. Using it as a meeting point with friends and family and since moving away from the area we still like to pop back from time to time. The last few times have been less than a pleasurable experience to say the least! Having gone back this evening with family members I can assure you it will be my very last visit having cost a lot in taxi fares it defiantly wasn’t worth the visit. The pub has a lovely inviting interior and exterior but the managers are something else. Several of our friend’s were regular customers but no longer go in there due to issues with the Managers. We thought we don’t go in that often and despite the fact we can’t see our friends we used to see in their we were under the impression if we invited family members and had travelled afar we would still have a good evening. DEFINITELY not the case, the landlady is so rude, to the point you are made to feel uncomfortable! I am not going to go into detail about how bad that lady’s manners are but wouldn’t order food there for sure. The beer is good quality and very fairly priced with a lovely real fires and amazing old pictures that portray interest for young and old. However the atmosphere is spoiled by one major fault THE LANDLADY with the rudest manners!!!Sadly tonight was the last visit we will make to the Yew Tree and we have been going long before this land lady took over!!!
Yew Tree Inn – RochdaleI went to the hare and hounds pub last night (bonfire night). And after queing up for 20 minutes we ordered 2 hot chocolates and were told we could not be served without ID. I am totally appauled by this as i am a regular customer there. In addition to this, the bar staff had watched us queue up the whole time and did not tell us we could not be served before hand.
Hare and Hounds – HydeHad a terrible meal here, burnt to a crisp it was black, I would not serve it to family let alone paying clients. Conversation heard by bar maid I would rather have not have heard.
The White Horse – StockportI found this pub amazing. The food was lovely and the menu was extensive. I went with a party of 12 and two babies, we were all accommodated, the food all came together and was really nice. I will be taking my work colleagues and family there again over Christmas without hesitation. Highly recommended.
Morning Star Pub Restaurant – OldhamSuperb cafe / eatery. Have eaten here for a number of years for breakfast or lunch, standard is excellent and never fails. Service always pleasant. Food is just amazing and hearty portions provided. very reasonable pricesVery small room so sometimes a bit cramped, not really suitable to take pushchairs.
Minskii Bar Continental – AltrinchamFantastic chippy, great English and Chinese food, lovely friendly staff.
The Jubilee – FailsworthA really friendly restaurant with a father and daughter team running it.The food is the best I have eaten in Chorlton. It's fresh, tasty and authentic. You have to try Zaytoon if you haven't already. And it's extremely reasonable!
Zaytoon – ChorltonVisited Zazzon for the first time tonigbht with my 12 year old.The food is wonderful, fresh, tasty and healthy. And cheap. The chicken schwarma was superb. Spiced to perfection and the tastiest chicken dish i think i've eaver eaten. Daughter absolutley loved it.Really relaxed atmosphere and the father and daughter who run it go out of their way to make you feel welcome. If that isn't enough, the place was also full of Lebanese families. If that's not a ringing endorsement then i don't know what is.Will be back very soon.
Zaytoon – ChorltonA really good restaurant here,, let's hope they keep the great standard that they have set for themselves,, definitely worth a visit,, :-)
Istanbul Grill – CheadleUnfortunately I was unable to sample their food as they do not allow dogs in the pub. I accept that this is entirely their choice and I do not take exception to that. What I did object to was the manner of refusal, and the statement that allowing dogs into a pub was against the law. I accept that dogs are not always wanted in a restaurant but we would have been happy to dine in the bar area. As our dog is only a shih tzu she would hardly have been noticed, and because of their attitude they lost the chance to cater to a party of eight and so we all went to the Ship Inn a Lathom and had a lovely meal.
Prince William Inn – WiganThe place was great the food was great the waiter who served us was very nice telling jokes all night. The only thing that put us off was his terrible BO.that would put us off coming again.
Rozafa Taverna – StockportJust want to say how disappointed I am at the windmill as one member of staff asked my son who has aspergers syndrome to remove his cap ...Lewis never removes his cap and rarely removes his sun glasses which he had on this occasion ! As he has a problem with his eyes and it causes massive anxiety when he removes it ...when I tried to explain this to the female staff member she replied it doesn't matter he needs to take it off ...how rude and not at all dissability aware !!! This is the first time I have managed to get my son away from the usual restaurant he goes to as well so well done the windmill for a great experience ...not !!
Windmill – AudenshawIgnoring the advice from friends that this place is going downhill I went for a meal.... wish I'd gone elsewhere no prams allowed.
The Horseshoe at Ringley – BoltonFirst time here – both at the Bridgewater Hall and its restaurant – and must say I was very impressed. Some really interesting dishes on the menu like turbot and pheasant which you don’t see too often, very reasonable prices and friendly and efficient service. I wonder if you can dine here even if you aren’t going to a concert?
Bridgewater Hall – Manchester City CentreOrdered takeaway on Saturday night was told that the food was really good. Time of arrival was supposed to be 30-45mins turned up around 1hr 10mins the food was cold forgot the poppadom's which we had paid for. Rang the restaurant to advise as the driver has just left to be told they'd discount our next order!! Told the woman on the phone to get the driver to return but surprise, surprise he didn't turn up!! Very disappointing and we won't be returning or recommending to anyone else!!!
