White Hart – OldhamConsistently high standard of freshly cooked food. Good choice of menu including pasta, pizza and great meat and fish dishes. Out of town, but always worth the journey. Visited on different days of the week and the standard has always been high. Separate bar area handy for meeting up before dining and drinks after.
Toby Inn – BoltonTime after time, the food is excellent. We have visited many times over several years and the food is always excellent
Simla Inn Tandoori Restaurant – RoytonMy husband and I went for Sunday Lunch. We didn't want three courses so opted for just a main course. The chicken was delicious and the vegetables hot and not overcooked. We both had a glass of wine which was also not over priced. We will visit again.
No. 4 Dine and Wine – Didsburyi have eaten in many of the nepalese restaurants in manchester great kathmandu being one of them which has been running for almost 20 years. i thought i had to try out namaste nepal as it has only been open about 20 weeks. i went with my husband and 2 sons, we were welcomed into the restaurant by a lovely young lady who was quite helpful when choosing our dishes she explained to us the variety of curries and there strengths but most of them were medium spiced we had healthy option of a sizzling starter which we ate as main with some sauce on the side also a very traditional steamed dumpling called momocha which was so delicious similar to a dimsum then main course something i had never seen anywhere lamb shak su ka lamb cooked in mince lamb which was a dish that even my sons loved this dish was recommended by the young lady and she was right we will go back just for that dish. we are now preparing to book for our Christmas party. all the staff are so friendly and helpful you cant get this anywhere anymore so it was lovely to see them all working like a team. you have to try this place as it to me is the best new place to eat out in.
Namaste Nepal – DidsburyEaten here a few times. Out of the way and ok.
Walmersley Massala – BuryWithout a doubt the most elegant restaurant on the Curry Mile (Rusholme) ... Splendid decor ... Great music ... Excellent food ... A true delight to eat in.
Spicy Hut – RusholmeI found this restaurant by chance the other day. It was brilliant. I felt like I was miles out in the country and away from it all, but we were only about three miles from town. I had steak which was the tastiest ever. My wife, a veggie had the homemade cheese and onion pie and loved it, but the real chips topped it all off. Also apparently you can go into their fridge and see the beef before you get your steak. I may take up that offer when the wife's not there!
The Fisherman’s Retreat – RamsbottomI was pleasantly surprised with the refurbishment that is under way. The new lower floor has an excellent ambience complimented by a subtle charm of Turkey. The food was excellent, a varied menu to suit all palates, cooked to perfection as always. the service could not be faulted. A brilliant night out and Manchester? cuisine was complimented by our guests.
Turkish Delight – ChorltonWe had a meal here a few days ago, what can i say, the food was fantastic the service was superb, the staff were all so friendly nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to eating there again.
Fahrenheit Bar & Grill – Manchester City CentreO what a night! Took my new girlfriend and it really was a great choice to impressive. A huge choice of dishes - we chose from the specials board and it really was special. Worth the money for the overall atmosphere and quality.
San Carlo – Manchester City Centrewe travel from st Helen's at least once a week to dine and enjoy the fabulous food and atmosphere at this top class restaurant i would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for the best lamb Madras anywhere
Lal Qila – RusholmeI recently visited for a birthday celebration. It was fantastic. Entertainment excellent (kids and adults). I would recommend it for any occasion.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester – Manchester City CentreVisited in a busy saturday night, wine was okay but food was pretty good with quality service. Starters were lovely, having chosen the seared raw tuna and my husband had cray fish tails on garlic brushetta, but he did find that a little over -zealous with the pepper. For mains we had Monkfish wrapped in Parma ham, - very nice and perfectly cooked, but unfortunately my husbands lamb did have to go back to the kitchen, as it was tough as old boots, so he reordered and chose the chicken which he said was pretty good. The only gripe i do have is that we were charged the price for the lamb - the chicken dish was cheaper on the menu, and a 10% service charge was automatically added to the bill, which on the menu said would be added on parties of 6 and over, we would return, but i would not be in a mad rush to do so.
Stock Restaurant – Manchester City Centreagreed that if this large restaurant is quiet it can be a little 'too big' BUT !!!!!!! the food is excellent and you get a much different feel when it is busy(fri and sat nights),we love our curry and this is a very good curry house, trust me you will not be disappointed.
Bower Fold Spice – StalybridgeAbsolutely outstanding, my GF said "I feel like I'm in Spain". Praise indeed. A bit tricky to find but well worth the hunt! A marvellous establishment.
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreGreat place for a good night or Sunday lunch out. Full carvery available along with a good pub menu - excellent specials - especially their chilli. Down side, chill not often enough and children are allowed to run around in the pub area - parents fault but pub needs to have words.
Rose ‘N’ Bowl The – RochdaleThis Indian takeaway is by far the nicest takeaway I have ever been to. They have a wide selection of foods, coffee whilst you wait and the staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone. Keep up the good work.
