So. I went to Snooks last night and its decent. The actual steak was cooked perfectly and was good quality meat. We booked for the Light Bite Menu (half price before 6.30pm). When we walked in we were given the full price menu and I had to ask for the cheaper option. I had homemade lentil soup to start and other half had chilli poppers, soup was tasty and came with a bit of warm French stick style baguette. The chilli poppers were fine, about 5 on the plate and a spicy sauce and salad. For main course we both ordered sirloin with chips (medium). The steak was perfectly cooked, the chips seemed freshly fried and were served to share. We ordered a side of battered onion rings which were nice and crispy. The atmosphere was a bit cold. We were the only people in the place and they had Celine Dion's hits on the CD player. It would be a good place to go on a lads night I think, not really a place for couples or for a special meal. You wouldn't take someone on a date or for an anniversary. We were £33 all in which is a good price, I'd probably go again if I wanted a quick bite in a rush.

Had two chicken curries delivered from the Red Fort Restaurant in Barrhead on 09/01/2010 while i was visiting a friend nearby, I was very disappointed as you could have drained about half a cup of water from each meal when it separated from the sauce, I eat currys from other Indian restaurants regularly and never experienced this so I phoned to complain and was told it was condensation because of the cold weather (aye right) on there menu it states 'Once Tried Never Forgotten' Well you could say they did warn me. Don't miss this place if you are within the Scottish nation. This is the best Mexican food in this country and the country to the south. The facility is wonderful the help is instantaneous and the food is consistently delightful. The stunner is that it is so very inexpensive. If the menu wasn't printed I would think that this was an introductory offer. Quick, comfortable, delicious and inexpensive-this is Mexican food heaven. The kingdom has a great attraction that will not let you down. World class food in Fife is wonderful news.

WOW! Fantastic food, simply delicious. I really enjoyed the relaxed dining atmosphere and attentive, welcoming and friendly staff. I don't normally comment on websites but this is just too good to keep a secret. Thank you for a great taste experience with lots of attention to details. I loved the carved vegetables.

My family and I ate here twice recently - the atmosphere was relaxing and romantic - the food was amazing ( I had Spanish sausage pasta and hubby had Monkfish which he said was to die for!) My little girl who can be quite fussy absolutely loved their spaghetti bolognese and couldn't eat the chocolate cake quick enough!! Finally I've found an Italian restaurant that can make a decent hot chocolate too - definitely worth a visit or two!! Just a shame its in Glasgow as we live 3 hours away!! Compliments to the owner and staff for such a wonderful experience.

I have been going to this restaurant for about 6 years now and refuse to go anywhere else...nothing compares! The staff are very friendly and the food is like no where else, huge portions at reasonable prices. Although there can be a wait for tables it is definitely a jewel worth finding.LOVE THE DELHI!!

The food is simply sumptuous and is a bargain at £37 for a fixed 4-course meal that actually turns into something a bit more with the number of small tasters in between each meal. It is a testament to the consistent performance of the chefs that a table at La Potiniere probably requires a minimum of 1 months pre-booking. The setting is an eye opener in that it is situated on the main road of a quiet village and you could be forgiven for driving past the restaurant thinking it was a private dwelling - it is, in effect a small bungalow with the dining taking place in what would be the living/dining room. There is no loud music played at La Potiniere but then again, the food is so tasty that all diners almost always engage in celebrated chatter after the oohs' and ahhs' have subsided from first tastings. The best compliment I can probably pay this establishment is that it is one you would choose if you wanted to celebrate an occasion and it certainly merits taking time beforehand to dress up for - not that you are required to do so, it is just that the food here is so special, it would be a shame not to look your finest whilst enjoying a taste of heaven. A complete joy.

Mushtaqs in Hamilton(not Motherwell) has is pretty new and is head and shoulders above any place I have ever eaten in. The food is amazing, service good and the decor is very cool! negative points - you cannot book a table so it is a bit of a lottery if you get a seat or not. They don't sell Irn Bru! Couple of small points - overall fantastic. We discovered this place when we noticed the very cool branded minis - and have been addicted since.

Having dined here numerous times, this restaurant is by far one of the best in the region. The food flavours and combinations are superb and the presentation is always immaculate. The inspiration of the chef is that of a genius and i would suggest to anyone in the area not to miss out on dining here.
