The meat is of very high quality and properly cooked. The side of cauliflower cheese not worth £3.50, the amount of food is more than adequate. The Yorkshire wrap and roast meals were excellent.

This is one of our favourite places in the area. The pub is beautifully decorated. It’s warm, cosy, modern and traditional all in one! The food is outstanding! The chef is so talented and the food is amazing! It’s reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. The chicken and almond curry is delish. The pie irresistible! The chilli…wow! We have never had a bad meal and we’d highly recommend everything!!

Great food, great service!

My wife and I had an evening meal, we arrived a little earlier than booked but that wasn’t a problem at all. We were shown to our table and proceeded to order our food. I had rib eye steak, which was delicious with a side of haloumi fries & my wife had a burger. Both meals were lovely & very filling, service was excellent and staff were very welcoming. We will certainly call in again

My husband and I had a really lovely beef dinner with perfectly cooked vegetables. It was all perfect with generous portions. We had our german shepherd dog with us and we were given a choice of great sitting. We woukd highly recommend it.

We had steak which tho tasted good was overpriced for what we had. Also had hotch potch bubble & squeek which was underseasoned and too much meat, the bubble & squeek itself was more like mashed potato and not sealed like it should be.good sized portion but undercooked veg on the side

Visited 3 consecutive nights whilst in area . Very good food , excellent varied range of meals with good specials

Service was okay at the table but lacking at the bar, most likely due to it being a busy Friday night. We weren't told we had to order at the bar, so we were left hanging for a while until we realized. But the food was delivered quickly and efficiently. When it did arrive, the chips were so good, but Sole was a little like freezer fish. Eating the scampi and chips from a basket was also odd, but you do get a plate, so I did decant my scampi and chips. Overall, I would give it another go, maybe on a quiet night, and wouldn't order the sole again.

Table booked for 7.00 busy evening lovely hotel and garden. Main meal very nice unfortunately out if the 5 options of dessert we ordered the cheesecake they had run out so ordered sticky toffee pudding that too had run out offered gluten free sticky toffee pudding so after waiting around 15 -20minutes for dessert the custard was only Luke warm. Young staff waiting on table were very pleasant

Booked online for evening meal 4th October, was greeted and shown to our table by friendly member of staff. We had the Anglesey burger and chips, service was great and the food was superb ,hot and very tasty . We didn’t manage a dessert on this occasion as the meal filled us. Beverages were very nice aswell and the atmosphere was very nice . Really enjoyed our time in this lovely pub.

Early dinner with friends was very enjoyable. The food was very tasty and served quickly. The staff were all very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The choice on the menu and special board was good as was the choice of beers etc

This booking was an absolute joke! Made and accepted booking yesterday afternoon using the online booking service - turned up this evening to say booking couldn’t be found and we couldn’t be accommodated due to a wedding! But the booking gave us various time options……….. Had to leave very disappointed , although the hotel further up did accommodate us. No apologies offered, just no booking found despite having received confirmation . Now back to an email hoping we enjoyed our meal that apparently you had no record of.,.., absolute joke and appalling customer service . So, in response to your latest email - we def did not enjoy our meal or your service. Regards.

Wow! Everything was perfect! The food was delicious the service was fast and the staff were friendly. Partnered with a cosy and homy country pub the Victoria Inn is a must for anyone in the area. The Anglesy Burger and the Cherry Bakewell Sponge are absolutely worth the trip!

Had a lovely evening last weekend here .The food was absolutely amazing loved my lamb henry delicious and also my friends enjoyed their food too . It was a busy night and staff behind bar were great also the waitresses thankyou x
