Lovely evening meals while we were staying at the Victoria for a few days. Good sized portions and friendly staff.

Really nice Sunday Lunch. Huge portions. Great parking. Very big pub so able to accommodate lots of people.

The food was excellent and the pub/garden is gorgeous. put a tv or 2 in the garden for sports and it would be perfect

Food served was very substandard. Ordered the fish and chips - but the fish was not fresh or the batter. For £16 I would of expected better quality of food. The service was good and the staff were friendly.

Very tasty, good quality food. We had the roast dinner Yorkshire pudding wraps. Good portion size.

A repeat visit with friends, we have used this pub several times over the last seven years whilst visiting the area. The portion sizes were good, the food was presented well and tasted great. The service was exceptionally quick, given it was a bank holiday weekend. We have found that the food is always consistently good, and the staff are polite and friendly. It’s very popular and always busy, with a lovely large outdoor beer garden.

It could not have been a better Sunday lunch. There were six of us and no one had any complaints the food was hot and delicious and served promptly by friendly staff. I only wish we lived closer because we would be regulars but next time we are in the area we will definitely be visiting and enjoying their fabulous food.

Visited on 22/08/2024 for my wife’s birthday. We stay in Barmouth quite often but normally on days when Foxglove is closed, so we were delighted to be able to visit this time. The food was amazing and brilliantly put together by Luke the chef and Antonella described all ingredients to us in each course. We took our dog who was treated like a Prince. Vegan or not you must visit Foxglove and sample the delightful food and atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

I can honestly say at 39 years of age, and having eaten many roasts, this is in my top five of all time. It was fantastic. Well worth the price, we were all very happy. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be back again.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere and delicious food. Service was a little slow but pub was packed so should be expected! Would highly recommend.

We had a Sunday roast, huge Yorkshire pudding and everything about the meal was delicious. All staff happy and friendly We will definitely be back!

The food was amazing! Customer service too. Also the time it took for our meals to arrive was first class. I would recommend to anyone in the Barmouth area that is looking for somewhere to eat. Make sure you book as it is always very busy.

Good, freshly cooked food. Prompt and friendly service. Nice pub atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings. Good outdoor space.

Disappointing visit. Ordering is confusing- no obvious place to order food, so ended up having to shout across the people sitting at the bar, which in a noisy environment is far from ideal. This may have been the cause of problems with the food and drink. 2 of the party had the same dish (plant based burger), one ordered without beetroot&hummus. Both were delivered without these - had discussion with the the two waitresses but they made no offer to rectify the situation, just walking away, so we didn't get what we ordered. I would have expected them to at least offer to take the one meal back to rectify, or at a minimum an apology. That aside, neither of us liked the flavour of the burger - but that's personal taste. On + side, the chips were great, as was the tagine tart.

As a regular the most recent lunch visit was as good as all the rest but what I ate and my guests ate was exceptionally good. Keep it up fellow’s. Fred Lane
