After reading all the reviews we were a bit worried. We thought we would give it a whirl regardless. I have to say it was ok, if you eat anything and don’t have any dietary requirements. if you are vegetarian and gluten free it’s not for you as most dishes contain gluten and some of the vegetables contain shellfish /crustations. There was not a vegetable curry , which is a shame. Going around the foods twice I came away with green beans and some broccoli, which is disappointing considering it cost 20.00 pp. As a table of 5 it cost 96.00 without drinks , which considering what you can buy for your money in other restaurants is expensive if your not eating to its full opportunity. The staff work hard , dishes were replenished quickly and clearing away tables was done regularly. I wouldn’t go back but that’s due to the amount of dishes available for me bring v and gf but the others dining liked it.

The meal was nice the hospitality was great and customer services was polite. I will always go bk

Recently moved to Gray’s and decided to take the family out for the first time . The food was awesome and there were variety of meals to choose from . My wife who is usually critical, could not stop singing the praise and quality of meal on display . I will definitely recommend to others.

Unfortunately most food was cold and not cooked properly. They serve tap water which has got horrible taste

Booked it for my sister's birthday. I've been here a few times, years ago and the food was good then. So we were really looking forward to the day, unfortunately the food was a big let down. No taste, stale and just overall a big disappointment. And definitely overpriced!

We booked this for our son’s birthday. Unfortunately we experienced poor service and our plates were not cleared from the table at all. We also found the majority of food to be exceedingly salty, so salty that anlot of the dishes we couldn’t taste the difference and didn’t feel able to enjoy our time as we had wished at the restaurant. We have been regulars for years and contributed to the restaurant as customers many times.

The food was awesome. Came to celebrate hubby’s birthday and we all enjoyed it so much h. Prices also reasonable. Only downside is staff being so miserable, no smiles just gloomy all round. But in as much as the food wa a great we had a good time. Would be good to teach staff customer service and positivity at work

Been numerous times. Enjoyed them all. But last night was a different matter food ok apart from the lemon chicken. Chewy, hard did not taste good. Shame because this being my favourite dish. Table staff a little moody. Could work on that a little. A hi & a smile goes along way. Look forward to next time

No complaints about the food as there was a huge variety available and it was replenished frequently. My only negatives were that the staff were slow to clear used plates between courses, and the squeezy bottle of golden syrup at the crepe station had a paper label which had been sellotaped on and had green mould growing under it.

We all enjoyed the food , service was great .

Although the food was good and so was the atmosphere, I was very disappointed that the staff never came to clear our plates till almost the end of the night. We had to keep piling them up on a spare part of the table. Considering we were a party of 9 that was very inconvenient. The restaurant wasn't full and there were plenty of staff around. Other than that , my 65 th birthday celebration went very well.

Had our booking at 4pm on a Saturday. We were greeted well and shown to our table. The food was not at the standards we have had in the past, there was hair in some of the dishes, and cooks/chefs behind the grill/dessert station were eating food whilst wearing their hygiene gloves but did not replace them after using their hands to eat food. We found this was very unprofessional and did not have very good food hygiene standards. Hair was not in hair nets nor were the waiting staff hair tied back. It was not busy so the standards should not have been so low. We were there for all of about 50mins. We probably will not return as this

We visited last night for the first time and was very impressed with the quality of food and friendliness of the staff

As always the food was piping hot and plenty of it.dont know how they do it for the price tbh very tasty food and my favourite was the banana and custard mmmmmm see you again soon definitely recommend it

Celebrated my son's birthday. Plenty of food, fresh and warm, always replenished when it starts to run out. Good food if you like Chinese and Indian cuisine, but also great pasta, pizza, fruit and cakes. I recommend. It's just a shame that the staff doesn't smile much.

Our first time at spoons and we start with a table of 10! Staff were very helpful and patient with our 5 year old twins and 9 year old’s birthday. Food was delicious and what variety! Will definitely be coming again.
